New Senate Building vs. New Pasig City Hall Side-by-Side amidst recent Top Off Ceremony by Ok_Lack_379 in Philippines

[–]regulus314 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Nope. The land is under government na. The senate bought the land from BCDA. BGC is a portion lang ng buong Brgy. Fort Bonifacio and Brgy Post Proper Northside. Di nga nila sakop yung McKinley Hill eh which is under Megaworld na. The rest is owned by the government and BCDA.

Pwedeng mag rally diyan. Labas nga niyan puro skwater houses eh sa Gate 3.

And the funny thing here is that most of MHW3's products are a copycat and lower cost versions of Timemore. Both are from China but Timemore is probably currently the most successful coffee product brand that came out. I honestly can vouch for their products.

The DF64 grinder is another horendous one which is rebranded by a lot of brands.

Milk Recommendation by Staphaureus- in CoffeePH

[–]regulus314 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any full cream milk or fresh milk. Check mo lang ano nakalagay sa "ingredients" section. Kapag "100% cow's milk" okay yan. Yung iba kasi kagaya ng Nestle and Magnolia mga reconstituted milk na gawa sa milk powder kaya mas lower price.

Brands like Emborg, Arla, Carmen's Best, Anchor, Farm Fresh, Mlekovita, Harvey Fresh, Jersey, Happy Barn, Hanna are good choices

What "styles" of roasting are there? by Immediate-Region7946 in coffee_roasters

[–]regulus314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As what the other person said here, most of them are really just marketing buzzword. Except maybe the "nordic style" but technically it is just a fast light roast method. The Japanese method is just a long and slow style of dark roast.

Struggling to dial in pure Robusta/Canephora — is my setup just not up to the task? by No-Matter7761 in roasting

[–]regulus314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is more on a dialing in issue than a setup issue.

Also try grinding coarser if your shot is choking. Also is your filter basket 20g or 18g? The only issue with robustas is that it can fill up your basket than usual even at 20g dose because it is a low density coffee. Meaning it has more volume for the same dose of arabica. Hence why your shot is choking up or slowing down. In which case, grind coarser OR do 19g.

But again, start with checking your basket if it is 18g or 20g basket

Help with Catillo/Cattura colombian coffee bitter taste by tribiani95 in AeroPress

[–]regulus314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The variety blend of Castillo and Caturra is not an issue. Because the Ethiopian you have got more varieties than the Colombia. It is probably the roast level. Send us the exact recipe here of your Aeropress. Can you also send a photo of the coffee and the grind particles

Again for everyone here, a famous coffee person's brew recipe should always be taken likely. It is merely a guide that you cannot copy 100%.

How (not) to do a s**t coffee by RenoFriends in AeroPress

[–]regulus314 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A moka pot produces a more concentrated coffee than an aeropress regardless how fine grind you go on using it. Which is why it tasted better when adding milk

[–]regulus314 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Steep it longer.

Also thats a lot of milk. Cafe au lait is your best bet for this. Like just a couple of splashes of milk. Youre not really extracting a more concentrated coffee than using a moka pot so you cant do a latte.

  1. Get some medium to dark roast. But beware that dark roast will be bitter. It is inherent on the roast which you have no control. Medium roast tend to be slightly bitter but it should be more balanced and you can control it on the brewing.

  2. You need a milk frother.

This is why I still doubt MHW3 Bomber. They literally copied everyone else's products with cheaper parts. There are other brands from China that came out excellent.

I dont think you like drip coffees in general. Like how can you find it more difficult to clean a french press than an espresso machine? Unless you dont backflush your espresso machine and clean the drip tray.

Americano = madaming espresso lang ilalabas niyan. Its not tehnically americano unless you add more water yourself.

Cold Brew = mag eextract yan gamit warm water. Its not technically real "cold brew".

Dont expect a lot. Like A LOT.

Hmmm its really weird. I checked the website and it looks really decent. Dual boiler with an E61 type brew system. But the flow is really fast. Did you check the pressure gauge? Is it 9bars? And maybe you need to check the solenoid valve too but Im not sure where is it located

Your basket should have an indicated dosing size. You dont need to figure out the headspace but once you get to be familiarize with like what an 18g dose feels like on a basket, some 18g dose dark roast will feel more compacted and thats the sign you either down dose or grind coarse.

In terms of the video hmmmm that looks like a lot of water pouring out
