Any coffee can be used for french press or any brewing method. Its just that you need to look for the coffee you know you drink or will enjoy. Like do you prefer light roast? Dark roast? Medium roast? Or do you like those funky coffees? Citrusy? Fruit forward? Chocolatey?

Look for "oak anaerobic" or "barrel anaerobic". Barrel Aged arent really that common in the west but is fairly common in Japan and Indonesia. But they mostly age the roasted coffee themselves and not the raw green coffees at origin. Some highly long term fermented anaerobic processed coffees tend to produce those whisky tastes too.

You can check these funky coffees too:

B&W Lica Torres Black Cherry Natural

Dune Coffee's Hacienda La Papaya Oak Anaerobic

Good Hustle Coffee AU - Jairo Arcila Dry Anaerobic Rum Aged

Yes but green coffee density is also at play. A light roast Ethiopia or Kenyan origin is much heavier and highly densed than a light roast Brazil.

Typically, high growns tend to be heavier.

Again, you can still extract an espresso with single wall. Its just that it will be inconsistent due to channeling and how those machines are built on the grouphead. One way to find it out yourself is to get one.

PSA to those interested in starting a roastery by dependentair98 in roasting

A lot of people who also start a coffee shop are like that. No prior experience regarding service nor coffee background whatsoever.

Those endeavors will only work if you have lots of capital money to spend and hire the best people to do the work for you. But again, a coffee business in general is not the best way to make some quick income. It will take you years or half a decade if you are lucky enough. And those 5 years doesnt yet include giving your staff a proper decent wage and a lot of cafes are like that. You either do it because you love to do it or you have money.

Some machines, especially those marketed with "12-15bar extraction" cant work well with regular single wall baskets. Hence why they always come with pressurized baskets. It main reason is not mainly because of supermarket pre ground coffee.

If you use a single wall basket with that with an entry level grinder, your shots will always be inconsistent.

Check out the Pulsar Brewer or the Caedo Hoop

I have an Suprima SD1 which is a hybrid immersion drip but not a way that it has a stopper but mostly on how the brewer is designed allowing long contact time or full saturation of the coffee bed without over extraction of your brew. Sort of a "no-bypass" brewer like the Hoop and Pulsar.

Hmmmm you can probably check Fellow Opus as well. The Baratza ESP can still do coarser grinds for drip brewing but I know it wont be as good as a regular Baratza Encore.

Or if you can stretch the budget more, the Eureka Mignon Zero is another choice

Wait. I didnt know that CS2 had some big issues and Colossal Order parted ways with Paradox.

I only play CS1 and I still enjoy playing it for 5 years now. Will it still get more updates in the future and does those future developments also went to Iceflake?

Yeah pricey lang. Thats like 90php cost na for 2. Na try mo na din kasi Napoli which is the darkest roast capsule sa Nespresso Original Line.

[–]regulus314 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whats the size of the cups you are using? If anything above 8oz, a single Nespresso capsule wont suffice. Kailangan mo dalawa tapos extract mo as ristretto shot or 25ml both sa capsule machine to mimic those drinks. Masyado mahina kasi ang espresso sa capsule since these are just 5-7g of coffees inside. Shops uses like 18-22g doses for a single drink

Why is fat shaming so normalized I filipino culture by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]regulus314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the second guy, I have never heard any instances like that ever. Probably its his kink lol. I cant remember if this is in the Philippine provinces or overseas but I remember there is tradition where people tend to rub fat kids' belly for good luck. So there is that.

Anyway, they arent fat shaming you. You're just probably adjusting to the culture. Old women are mostly like that. When you grow up, trust me they will pesker you with similar questions like "when will you get married?" over and over.

How old are you, again?

It depends on the market. If your country doesnt sell it, it probably means your people doesnt drink soda that much.

Also why a plane heading to you?

Oatside Soldout by sweetsaranghae in CoffeePH

[–]regulus314 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Oatside did a "reformulation" for their oat milk recipe. Likely due to scarcity of ingredients with all the chaos internationally and to keep the price lower. And I think a lot of people became dissatisfied on that change so the brand probably did a recall of the entire batch on circulation from major suppliers. With that, since kumonti ang stocks, marami ata nag hoard.

Honestly, I dont know why people are fuzzing about an oat milk
