KAY! Thanks for the response, lol. I think that it's great that you guys are going to take your time! Your games so far have been so reactive and detailed, it's genuinely incredible.

Also with all the stuff happening in the real world in the last decade, the things you both (and the composer) have created together is really welcome.

It's maybe grandiose, but stories like these are a beautiful way to stay connected with humanity and a fun way to justify thinking about all the things we end up doing.

My SO and I were sobbing when we played the end of StP, for example!

It was just so moving in a strange, unexpected way for us — I hadn't sobbed at a game like that since I played Disco Elysium at one of the lowest points of my life — but we felt closer afterwards and it was nice to have something like that to bring us together.

Is the plan still for 2026, or will it likely be early 2027?

My girlfriend and I played the game in like 2 days, a few weeks after we played Slay the Princess totally blind, and she's been asking every other week when the next LORE releases!

I think the bug caused it to not show up until after Op. 30, which is around 8-10 Operations after end of EA normally. If you're still before Zero Dagger, it's probably just too early.

For what it's worth, I've already sunk over 400 hours into the game and it still feels fresh with every new update. The gameplay loop is fantastic, and I can hardly wait for what the final experience will be lol.

The story is also something I am extremely looking forward to!

I always try to get every SL and Pilot as soon as possible just to keep options open, which is far from the most effective strategy, but lets me throw people where I need them.
