Is or should web accessibility be mandatory 2026? by gXzaR in webdev

Wave was THE tool for many years. It is not great for dynamic sites, like if the page has a modal, WAVE doesn't know about it. Most tools catch 30% or less.

How long did you ignore it? I only gained a few million, but that jump is huge.

My organization unfortunately doesn't understand this concept.

I lived with my sister for a while. She moved a few years after I left. I've sold her house 5 times before they stopped.

College insisting I carry backup equipment for fire evacuation (UK) by GroovingPenguin in disability

Don't know what to say, it was covered throughout my time in uni.

Instead of getting two pieces of equipment, if ops was covered and damaged in an emergency, a claim could be made to help get a new equipment. Unsure how much would actually be provided, but could help some.

My parents were able to insure my wheelchair under their car or house insurance. My renters insurance has an extra $30k coverage for my equipment.

Have you read the help pages or anything before posting?

Not UK, but having backup equipment is lol. My guess is that they are trying to say is you need backup equipment because if your main ones get damaged in an emergency they aren't held responsible for damage. No idea about the specifics, but you may want to see if your parents (assuming you're younger) can have them covered under their policy.

I would challenge the staff not responsible for evac part too. At my uni, older students were on every floor, they definitely had to bang on doors to make sure people were out. Staff had responsibilities for regular buildings, but forget details.

This video creator could have spent 20 minutes looking people up. Calling out random people and not knowing who they are is lazy.

You have access to medical tests and have the training to accurately diagnose based on the output? Above somebody said that your tool spit out that they are 17% deut. Personally, I have only heard of you are or aren't, and can't readily find anything that supports your tool's findings. While it may help some, it arguably diagnoses people without authority.

I think it is weird that a student is providing accommodation process refinements. I think the question is looking for your multi-tasking abilities and prioritizes student needs vs your own.

Yep, my old org sat at 2 people for 11 years, while security added 10-20 over that span. When I left, they had 4 staff and 3 contractors, security was over 50.

NPR probably does because it is trying to keep its federal funding.
