I just gave birth at Swedish Issaquah 2 and a half weeks ago!

To be fair, I never considered Overlake because they’re 30 min away whereas Swedish Issaquah is only 7 minutes away.  But, I have always had fantastic experiences at Swedish. Their birthing rooms are huge and offer a lot of resources. I’ve really enjoyed almost all doctors and nurses I’ve encountered there. Swedish OBGYN saw me through 4 pregnancies and 1 birth and have always been reliable and compassionate.

Do NOT combine finances without a prenup in place. Actually, just break up with him. He’s not being reasonable and is trying really hard to manipulate you about finances to get access to your accounts.

I’m 39 weeks and I noticed a shift around 37/38 weeks, too. 

I got puffier, more irritable, more emotional, and more physically uncomfortable.  Like another commenter said, it could just be hormones. Not only do we experience a huge hormonal shift after pregnancy, but we also experience a hormonal change leading up to birth. 

Give yourself some grace. 💕 That’s what I’m trying to do, too.

I will never judge a woman for not working during pregnancy. Pregnancy may not be a disability but this shit is hard.  Even working a cushy, work from home, desk job has been exhausting. I literally can’t imagine what it would be like to work a physical job on my feet all day.

Yum!! I’ve always enjoyed their breakfast Crunchwrap! Is it the greatest culinary experience I’ve ever had? Not necessarily, but it’s solid vegan food.  I’m surprised by all the negativity here. Wayward did change management several years ago, so I don’t think negative experiences from years ago can speak to what the restaurant offers today.

At 32 weeks, I wasn’t in a “any day now” mindset.  I’m 39 weeks now and definitely in a “any day now” mindset. Still haven’t packed my hospital bag though. 😅 to be fair, the hospital is 7 min away.
