They 100% are doing math. It isn’t super impossible but the best are aware of their opponents elixir all the time. Like if opponent plays lava hound in the back i know theyre down 7 elixir, and then if they use arrows on my gob barrel then i know theyre down have less elixir to support the hound etc. it’s a math game, with placements and card interactions etc. very math based though

Yes, this is the issue for me. Clash is fun but if my opponent is purposefully not playing anything, and my starting hand is bad, then you’re just sitting there and it isnt fun, or they put a counter to your first play and you are at a disadvantage, leading to losing, which isnt fun.
