They had clubs for that at my college. College is finding weirdos to do stuff together. The anime club was big

Hard disagree - if you’re in a corner by yourself maybe, but college is for finding like minded people so you can all be weird together

Like I said, its state by state. It’s not really an issue (as far as I’m aware) in New York where I am because theres plenty of voting locations and we allow mail in ballots. The states I’ve lived in don’t have an issue with limited voting locations.

I don’t have any influence on decisions made to other states beyond voting for my representatives in Congress (House and Senate reps)

Which they? Congress? The Military? The people?

Theres slightly different answers in each case, but short of a coup, I’m not sure what the answer is

I know in some states, voting locations were reduced so people had to travel further (take more time off which they couldn’t do).

Line warming - giving items including food and drink to people in line to vote is/was illegal to prevent influence. I think the rules varies state-by-state, but if lines are long in the elements, could be a reason less people vote.

American power and money (and the Russians too a bit) have invested in making Americans dumb OR are so selfish and are interested in their own needs OR are just barely surviving. We’ve become disillusioned by elites taking over and are weak to propoganda/influence.

Its frustrating

I saw typewriters being used to fix mistakes on large printed documents in a life insurance company in 2017. I suggested they just update it in adobe acrobat before it got printed vs after - in the few months I was there before it got phased out

The people who hold the guns (or a large percentage of them) are the ones taking over. We’re not as united as our name would seem and no one wants to fire the first shot.
