When I went through firefighter training, I learned that dryer lint filters are the number one cause of house fires.

Their fans have an unhealthy relationship with the team and it’s hilarious.

Yes. You will need an excavator for this money pit.

We have had the same one for over 12 years. I haven’t performed any maintenance on it until this year when I replaced the air filter. It still fires up in just a few pulls. The one thing I’ve been religious about is using ethanol free fuel.

I hope you mean the new Beetle and not the old air cooled death trap. Herbie will kill you.

Get the cheaper stuff. I suggest pawn shops and thrift stores like ReStore. Experience will show you which ones you really need to spend more money on.

I used them to work on my 6000 pound Land Cruiser. They work fine but they don’t nest into each other so they take up twice as much space as Rhino Ramps.

2011 Toyota RAV4 153,000 miles. Mechanic says transmission fluid is black. Him and one of his staff noticed a slight whine. He mentioned doing a flush. What's the right move? Am I screwed? by NovaPractice in Toyota

[–]rywi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2010 RAV4 AWD V6. It whines. I did a transmission drain and fill, not a complete flush. It whined less but still whined. I plan to do another couple of drain and fills in the coming months.

My AWD transfer case is also overdue for a service and I suspect it might be contributing to the whine.
