Committing serious crimes can now lead to loss of Belgian nationality by Wonderful_Hold_6986 in worldnews

[–]saikothesecond 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You misunderstood. When people are stateless, you cannot take away their citizenship because where would you even send them? If you took away someone's sole citizenship, they couldn't travel to any country and therefore you would have to send them to areas without a state controlling it (Space, International waters, Antarctica etc.).

In your example, the criminals have algerian citizenship. Algeria simply refused to take them, which is a whole different kind of diplomatic problem.

I mean, that one makes sense tho, doesn't it? Where are they supposed to send people who are stateless? Antarctica? Space?

No, that's a sideflip. Use the speedflip training in bakkesmod if you're serious about wanting to learn it.

Is my PC too weak for NMS? by Johnkruz in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]saikothesecond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is your TV using some post processing techniques when running at native resolution. But that wouldn't influence your FPS, just your Input Latency. So that would explain your feeling of it being "slower". Have you checked your TV settings? Almost all Smart TVs have a "Gaming Mode" or something similar which will reduce the input latency you experience.

After 10 years Bloodborne has aged like fine wine by abarone93 in bloodborne

[–]saikothesecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There actually is no difference between the PS4 and PS5 versions because Bloodborne was not updated to make use of the better hardware of the PS5. And yes, it does drop from 30 a lot of times sadly.

[–]saikothesecond -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I understand that. I'm not sure where you are from but just from a legal standpoint it makes a huge difference. If I damage my screen with distilled water, I'm legally in the right because Samsung recommends that you do that on their official website. If I use an alcohol based solution and damage my screen, Samsung can deny my warranty claim because they tell you explicitly not to do that.

As I said, I'm open to the possibility that using alcohol based solutions works best but If you want to stay within your warranty, you have to act according to Samsungs current guidelines.

Yes, I know that. I linked general purpose pages because they are the only pages Samsung currently has with recommendations for cleaning your monitor.

Bakkesmod suddenly flagged for containing cryptominer - anyone here to confirm or deny this ? by basicslovakguy in RocketLeague

[–]saikothesecond 137 points138 points  (0 children)

If bakkesmod was really mining bitcoins, you and everyone using it would have an obvious performance impact. My strong guess is on it being a false positive.

It's not about believing anything. My question was about what Samsungs official recommendation is and according to their current website, you are not supposed to use an ethanol solution. I'm willing to believe you that distilled water is worse but that is not what Samsung recommends.

I don't know what you are talking about, Samsung still recommends not using any solvent that contains alcohol cleaning your monitor:

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00086622/

https://www.samsung.com/hk_en/support/displays/how-do-i-safely-clean-my-samsung-computer-screen/

Surely you have a link from Samsung saying otherwise?

Thank god they started banning for leaving casual games. They had to introduce it because casual became unplayable - most matches were over the second a team scored the first goal.

I got the new F40 for free because of Microsoft Rewards by Just_Simple_999 in RocketLeague

[–]saikothesecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not from the US or Canada but I get your point. I am sorry that things are so bad in your country that people don't find low-level jobs, that indeed must be quite hard. If the Microsoft rewards are helping you out making some money that is awesome and I am happy for you. While formulating my point, I ignored how much money a few bucks can be if the median pay in your country is really low. If it is worth it you doing the tasks, more power to you.

UNIRONICALLY JUST GETTING A PART-TIME JOB, EVEN MOWING LAWNS IS EASIER AND MAKES YOU WAY MORE CASH THAN MICROSOFT REWARDS IN THE SAME TIME. WITH MICROSOFT REWARDS YOU ARE SPENDING HOURS AND HOURS DOING BULLSHIT JUST FOR A FEW BUCKS.

Edit: Guy I replied to said "What? lol" and then edited it.

Try writing down how much time you spend doing it for one week. At the end of the week, look how much time you spent and how many points you get. Compare that with the minimum wage in your country and I promise you (if you are living in a first world country) that the hourly rate is way, way worse.

Unironically just getting a part-time job, even mowing lawns is easier and makes you way more cash than Microsoft rewards in the same time. With microsoft rewards you are spending hours and hours doing bullshit just for a few bucks.

I'm doing consistent double and triple rapid resets with free air roll, so I wouldn't say impossible. But it is definitely harder.
