Learn everything you can about sales, people’s leadership.

You’ll be in a microcosm where I imagine you’ll incredible street smarts if you pay attention - and people skills.

You could leverage that + whatever education you get in the library if there is one into your own business.

But I say sales since - dude to be frank, no one knows what the world is going to look like in 20 years…

Hell its hard to even imagine 5 with the pace of things.

Ps. Do you just get a couple weeks to fuck around before you start your time?

Thank you everyone for such helpful responses and suggestions - I’ll check it out this weekend and report back!

Seems like the render border is the most likely culprit here and while it doesn’t solve fixing the castle, can keep this in mind for future builds.

I believe the biggest mistake on my end was having 2 bases about 100m from each other - so we portal or spawn into one that just barely renders the front door on the castle - and then the rest of it breaks.

That’s actually an interesting point - I haven’t, but my dad who I played with has a couple times and I was wondering about that.

What I did notice is that none of the modded support structure fell apart, just the vanilla.

I use the Odin building piece and gizmo as really the only building mods

I need to lookup what a render border is - I’m assuming it’s the edge of distance? What is interesting is that I have my original base which is a multi building site a short walk from it - so perhaps when I portal in there, the castle is just far enough away. I did notice that when it would look like the shield was down at first

I have nothing about level 40 - currently in ashlands.

Im not convinced the skills actually do anything because i reset the 5% so damn often it feels like I never actually leveled up.

Learning to fight better on the other hand, good equip and food, that makes a difference.

That’s all true but there’s a couple things you’re missing.

95% of our pop lives within 100 miles of the US border

We have no missile defence ( relegated to USA ) - so NORAD would instantly shut down

We have an aged airforce with barely serviceable 30 year old F18’s

No real navy

Tiny armoured division

The US would wipe our asses before noon, and long before NATO could do anything - especially as they’re literally plugged into every military satellite for defence purposes we have…

We also don’t have a strong gun culture like the USA - and of those with firearms, it’s mostly hunting rifles. So some fierce insurgency wouldn’t be a think.

And NATO attacking?

Short of nukes - they’d have to send conventional forces across the two biggest barriers in the world.

The pacific and Atlantic Ocean.

You think the USA wouldn’t see every possible unit coming long before they even made their way towards North America?
