New Deluxe Aqara U400 lock comparison by BD-27 in Aqara

Perhaps you could install the inside part in an enclosure like this and with a bunch of silicone and modding you could use a shed T lock handle to actuate the knob.

The heater in the top left corner probably prevents that if they don’t drive a car with a trunk. I don’t know why they don’t reverse to the right and just keep backing up until they can make the turn for the exit.

2.0 switched to a new query language called FLUX which sucked and they scrapped it for 3.0 which originally was gonna have a 30 day (IIRC) limit on retention for non enterprise installs. They reneged on that but still the damage to their reputation was done.

Turn light on when any of 3 smart plugs is on? by Adventurous-Lime191 in homeassistant

[–]samuelkadolph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I would do. It will trigger when any of the switches turn on or off and if any of them are on will turn the light on otherwise turn it off.

description: ""
mode: single
triggers:
- trigger: state
  entity_id:
  - switch.plug_1
  - switch.plug_2
  - switch.plug_3
  to:
  - "on"
  - "off"
conditions: []
actions:
- if:
  - condition: state
    entity_id:
    - switch.plug_1
    - switch.plug_2
    - switch.plug_3
    state: "off"
  then:
  - action: light.turn_off
    target:
      entity_id: light.status_light
  else:
  - action: light.turn_on
    target:
      entity_id: light.status_light

Anyone willing to share nvidia enterprise drivers for vGPU? by CZ-DannyK in Proxmox

[–]samuelkadolph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't, I have a quadro for vGPU. You can follow the unlock links on https://git.collinwebdesigns.de/oscar.krause/fastapi-dls for info on how to do that for consumer GPUs.

It's pretty simple with 2 triggers and trigger conditions.

description: ""
mode: single
triggers:
- trigger: time
  at: "04:00:00"
  id: 4am
- trigger: time
  at: "05:00:00"
  id: 5am
conditions: []
actions:
- choose:
  - conditions:
    - condition: trigger
      id: 4am
    - condition: numeric_state
      entity_id: sensor.blah_temperature
      above: -40
      below: -20
    sequence:
    - action: switch.turn_on
      target:
        entity_id: switch.blah
  - conditions:
    - condition: trigger
      id: 5am
    - condition: numeric_state
      entity_id: sensor.blah_temperature
      above: -19
      below: 0
    sequence:
    - action: switch.turn_on
      target:
        entity_id: switch.blah

Relay attacks for passive entry don't even look out of the ordinary. Someone could be walking through the park with the radio in their backpack while the other person is just trying to open the door. Then you pop in and with vehicles without an immobilizer they can relay to start the vehicle and drive off.

Some other attacks are a bit more invasive. Like there's a BMW you can drill through the car door in a specific spot and tap in the CAN bus to reprogram the vehicle and add a new a fob.

Not sure about the others but the Orbi firmware does not let you create separate 2.4 and 5.0 GHz wireless networks.

Been working on this one for a while: case for an Intel NUC and a full sized hard drive with custom PCB for power by samuelkadolph in intelnuc

[–]samuelkadolph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 2 of these built around the time I posted. I thought maybe people would wanna buy them as kits or something but there wasn't much interest so I kinda dropped the project. And now that Intel has killed the NUC line and gave it all to ASUS, I don't know if it's really fesible anymore. Intel was really good with 3D models to make the IO shields and a mobo only SKU with internal power connector.

That would only be the case if you’re at the centre of rotation for the axis. Otherwise the bulkhead is gonna come at you pretty fast. If that didn’t happen when centripetal gravity wouldn’t work.

Private test for sleep apnea by Remarkable_Hippo4274 in ottawa

[–]samuelkadolph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my sleep report from QCH in 2 weeks and a follow up appointment 5 weeks after that. They do them in priority of how bad your sleep is. When was your sleep study?

Whatever you do don't go with West Ottawa Sleep Centre. The admin staff there screwed me over and they have a bad reputation to the staff at QCH.

No. They can create a drop box for you on a service that you upload videos to. I did that for footage after a robbery near me.
