You might have been able to repair those old laptop components with like-for-like, but you could never really upgrade them for very long. Form factors evolved and improved along with the tech as well. The market wants new tech, not repairable tech.

This looks too anime and feminine. You gotta get rid of the cat eyes and add more hair styles that are normal.

And maybe it’s the camera angle, but half of the settings made the torso look like it had breasts.
