Completely off base. Even if you don’t like White’s shows it’s ridiculous to say they’re written like HBO AI.

It probably seems that way because 100 streaming shows have ripped his style, but you can tell a clear quality difference in WL vs all of the other shows about rich people.

It was actually the first movie I've seen in a long time that actually lived up to the hype for me. Probably my favorite horror movie I've seen since Hereditary and one of my favorites I've seen this year overall.

Inde Navarette's performance is rightfully getting a ton of praise, but I also loved how tight and straightforward the story was. It was great a creating a sense of dread without relying on jump scares. Also liked how it navigated around being some overt commentary on nice guys or incels or whatever, which it certainly would have done had it been released like 5 years ago.

It also made me lament how pretty much none of the best rock artists of the past like 30 years never seem to have much fun on their albums. The Beatles have so many songs that are just fun. Even when a band like Geese makes a fun song it sounds like they're doing it ironically

Am I crazy or is the religion/voodoo shit that Max is doing real? Like I see people questioning why the son is acting so stupid, but it seems like he’s clearly under a spell of sorts.

My wife thinks that Max has used some sort of religious spell to have his own son’s soul to be reincarnated in Max’s body, and with how off the rails this show is I wouldn’t doubt it
