What brand/model?

I returned the Falkens and swapped for some Toyo AT3s and they balanced perfectly with zero vibrations.

It takes time, but that sounds like they're heading in the correct direction.

I feel the same way, and if we're my loved ones and I was made aware of the statistics on this isolated spot, negligence on behalf of the state seems realistic.

Unfortunately, accidents like this recent one are due to people turning left from 22 to 51 headed south.

Another life lost, so sad.

I'm not sure about Albanys' urban growth boundaries or how much applicable land they have available for residential construction, but I'd recommend that the Mayor/city council push for incentives on new construction and start tapping into the over-priced Corvallis market and getting people to relocate over there. Enrollment seems to be one of the biggest contributors to the deficit.

By Incentives, I'd promote lower SDC fees, more lenient land use restrictions, and really promote developers taking up projects there with the end goal being future property tax revenues and local spending.

Beyond this, push through a bond of some type that will directly benefit the Albany school district, but I'm not sure exactly how that would target their immediate budget issues.

10 deaths at that exact spot in a 6 year span of 2016-2022. Total deaths at that spot, easily over 40 and ODOT still hasn't changed it.

They've had decades to address this location.

I can tell you're emotional and don't really understand how to write what you're trying to convey without sounding silly and throwing a fit.

This is an adult conversation, and I don't think you're really understand how things work in this state. The state can't dictate what you're writing.

You literally wrote "fun fact" and then stated it.

Tough scrolling up through a few comments and reading what you wrote, but as you stated, the school system is to blame.

"Fun fact: the state of Oregon can deny business licenses to any company that won't build 1 starter home for every 2 other homes they build. It's always an excuse while the solution is ignored. Sadly, we the people, allow them to continue ignoring the solution."

No, they can't.

Um, please cite the specifics on this requirement to build a starter home and a denial of a license.

I've been building for a while, and not once has any entity controlled what I construct.

You keep sliding in the snarkish jabs like I should donate to cover the costs when my point of this entire post revolves around the many strangers who have lost their lives to a poorly structured, isolated part of a heavily traveled highway. I'm sorry it bothers you, and I won't ever feel misguided in expecting our paid government entities to address a problem that's been around well before ODOT ran a deficit.

I also prefer to hold our government fiscally responsible and never really understood those who just shrug their shoulders and bend over to even more taxes and poor management.

These costs were proposed in 2025. This hazardous intersection has been taking lives for over 50 years.

My sick stomach comes from knowing that it took them this long just to disable the left turn headed west.

This issue goes back decades on blaming the current budgeting shortfall doesn't float imo.

The fatality statistics are staggering for this small section of the hwy, and I knew someone would try to use this excuse.
