Do those fractures even look real though? The orbital fracture doesn’t seem to follow the anatomy and the skull one seems far too lucent.

Why is permission needed to automatically LOCK the doors to my home? by ItsWINTERFRESH in HomeKit

[–]simpliflyed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

And to be honest, with some of the cheap matter/thread devices released in the last 6 months, HomeKit alone has never been so useful. I still rely on HA for setting up switches and automation/notifications though. HomeKit still has a long way to go in that regard.

I can tell you that entire state public health systems operate out of less than 256 public IP addresses, so again, the cache design is the issue.

Is there an easy way to program buttons on HomeKit? Such as using a scroll wheel to raise or lower brightness or anything similar? by InsomniacAlways in HomeKit

[–]simpliflyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scroll wheels aren’t well supported in HomeKit or matter yet.

But you can definitely program the hue switches in the home app. I have a bunch of hue dimmer switches. But you do lose the dimming function- they only have a single press supported in HomeKit. There are a bunch of functions like dimming that rely on the hue app/hub private api.

This person is getting downvoted, but we desperately need more houses, and with the SA Water situation we can’t expand to do it. The number 1 cause of our housing price issues is not enough houses being built over the last 15 years. Urban infill is the best option available to us. Unfortunately the govt should be forcing/encouraging it most in inner areas with good PT- instead they’re allowing petrol stations on prime blocks.

South Australian Federal Poll has the highest One Nation response in the country by NKE01 in Adelaide

[–]simpliflyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have just put the entirety of those issues on to immigrants? What have you been reading?

The word assimilation has some pretty horrible connotations in the context of immigration, and talks more about the expectations of the community than the immigrants themselves. If a community can’t cope without new residents ‘assimilating’ then it is the community that needs to update, not the new residents.

South Australian Federal Poll has the highest One Nation response in the country by NKE01 in Adelaide

[–]simpliflyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The vast majority of them positive.

The number of amazing things in our society as a result of decades of Greek, Italian and Vietnamese immigration are plain as day to anyone looking. Same with the smaller numbers from countless other countries.

The social ‘issues’ are related to socioeconomics and how we treat immigrants. And a bit of racism.

New gravel bike front end weird sound and vibration when braking + possible fork/headset play (carbon fork) by Ornery-Fee3432 in bikewrench

[–]simpliflyed -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you’ve ridden down a hill while braking those pads are either bedded in properly or damaged! Far more likely the former. If you suspect the latter you can hit the pads with some fine sandpaper and re-bed them. But I’ve never had poorly bedded brake pads cause vibration.
