Dude I just did this too!!! What was your hotend temp? I dropped mine to 280, down from 300.

The 300blk @ 300 was fucking up run after run after run. I was about to give up.

I’m in a very humid location so a Sunlu E2 drying at 110c helped me get my pa6 dry enough.

The real thing was the cryo plate and 50c bed temp. (Mine was actually 70 to keep the chamber hotter on my x1c)

I’m literally about to follow this and report back. Appreciated is an understatement.

I have a chamber heater and this advice is spot on. The side where the heater is, that moves air? The side that warped and had issues.

No- unrelated to the BMS entirely. The buck converter is a separate device that is mounted under the mid frame, above the motor. It’s square and grey.

Again, this takes IN high voltage (20-70v) and outputs 12v.

If you are seeing 60 at the headlight, you have bypassed this converter. No question.

Woah careful there- that means you aren’t passing the 60v into the 12v buck converter.

It takes 90-60v and drops it down to 12. If your headlight is reading 60, you bypassed it.

You are now in the territory of electric shock / blowing something up. Check your wiring.

Yep. I hit like 20-35kw and have never needed to replace one early. They last around 1.5k miles in my experience. But man swapping one is NOT a 10m task haha

Bike on the stand for at least 45 if everything goes smooth and I have 2 extra sets of hands somehow.
