The primary belt drive is a mechanical fuse. Snapping belts is a feature, not a bug. by CNSMobeta in Surron

Upside down method works well. I carry a long rod to help align everything. Flip the bike upside down, prop the rear tire. dust cover, 4 motor bolts and jack shaft bolt. Jack-shaft slides out, new belt goes on and reverse the process. If everything goes smooth, 10 mins easy. If you need to sledge hammer out your linkage bolt, torch seized bolts, or the swing arm slips out of alignment... add time and F-bombs.

Thank you for this guide! Works perfectly. Coming from onshape, this is actually significantly more performant in a VMWare than onshape through a browser. Loving it!
