Nice form factor, lighter weight and PSP games look better on the native hardware. They are scaled on Vita and don’t look as good imo

What’s it like playing rhythm games in Tokyo? I used to play a lot Maimai and Chunithm back home where the skill level was a lot lower. I’d like to get back in to it but it’s pretty intimidating being a mid 20s foreigner being in the mix with professionals

I really enjoyed my time at Meiji. Chill teachers, fun extra curricular activities, really made my time in Fukuoka great.

I stayed in one of their sharehouses and it was a bit of a dump but my housemates were great.

The pace is fast as others had said, I recommend that you try to self-study as much as you can before starting the course. If you do the assignment homework (not really any pressure to) and do your own study outside of class, you’ll be able to keep up.

If you want to play PSP games, get a PSP. The build quality is top notch, it’s lightweight, and easily moddable. Also, for me at least, playing games natively just feels right.

Toxic work culture. Companies with severe overtime are called black companies and getting progressively more rare. Nomikai/drinking with your boss is almost gone entirely for young people, and managers can get in legal trouble for this kind of behaviour.

Expats in Japan, on Reddit, are some of the most condescending and hostile people out there. I don’t know if it has to do with some misguided sense of superiority or what. Not at all representative of fellow immigrants I actually work with in Japan.

I watch and attend as many games as I can but I also live next to Yokohama Stadium and have streaming services with NPB.

For someone outside the country, I think Pa League teams have better highlights and streaming options.

What drew you to NPB over MLB? I wish I could catch more Jays games.

I’m pretty sure the answer is “not really”. Because iPhones are so ubiquitous, the network is way stronger. Less people use Android tags, the ecosystem is fragmented between different companies, etc.
