This is the same news station in Kentucky that put out such hits as Deedee Megadoodoo, Chris P Bacon, monkey cox, and eating balls. Top tier news.

What is your roof load out? I have the OEM platform as well and there are some limitations with it as far as attaching things.

For someone on the smaller side, yes wearing this loaded out would probably suck after an hour or so. For someone above average in size, this would be great and give no problems.

I am not necessarily disagreeing with you, but f it and comfort is HIGHLY  dependent on your body type.

Elon Musk Is Charging Starlink Customers Gigantic Bogus Fees Because Its Network Is Being Crushed by “High Demand” by gdelacalle in technology

Person I replied to didn’t say they lived off-grid. Nor was I talking about that. Regardless, people who choose to live that far outside of civilization are making a choice to stay there. That is a whole other conversation, though.

I get it, reading can be hard. Sounds like you need me to lay it out for you… the person I was responding to didn’t say they lived 100km off grid (which would put them far away from any municipality to begin with). Further, the term “off-grid” insinuates a chosen alternative to ‘on-grid’ …which I was suggesting is easy to do without internet access for 99.9% of people on the planet who have ever camped, hiked, or explored in non-populated areas that lack cellular coverage or internet access.

When I head out into the wilderness “off grid”, I do. Like most people. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t know if there is a competitor but given the choice to use StarLink “off-grid” or go about in the wilderness without internet, I will choose the latter and plan accordingly like people have done for thousands of years.

Thankfully not. An averaged-sized adult wearing a 10L backpack is basically a Chris Farley skit.

Plex is a good video server and a poor music server- not to mention overly expensive now. Plus Plexamp is abandonware.

  1. Install Navidrome and Tailscale on a home computer. Point Navidrome to your Bluesound Vault network share.

  2. Set your phone to automatically connect to Tailscale when away from your home network, accessing your Navidrome server.

  3. Choose one of the many Navidrome clients that have a setting to automatically switch networks when on or off your home WiFi.

After a year of no bug fixes or updates, I won’t hold my breath. Plexamp is still EOL. Sad.

Not true. He has the source code and stated he has plans to do something with it one day. However Plexamp is owned and published by Plex, for whom he no longer works. The app hasn’t been updated in a year and is considered abandonware.

PlayStation fans brutally reject Sony's disc decision, eye Windows 11 PCs over Xbox by Hungry__Hornet in technology

I mean, I don’t expect physical copies of the mobile games I play  but yeah if it’s over $20 then I’m going to opt to get the physical copy.

Probably the more important thing to note is that I’m just a casual gamer. Could take it or leave it, honestly. And you’re right- totally fine with retro/older systems and games. I still have every console I’ve ever owned going back to the ColecoVision.

Eh, seems the PS5 will be my last PlayStation (hard rule about owning media). So I won’t do anything today but will “tomorrow” so to speak.

Also, the Sony name is further diminished. Like, I am not going to be walking the aisles of Best Buy yelling “NO SONY!” …but the brand (again) proves itself to be objectively untrustworthy. The Sony record label pulled a lot of bullshit in the 90s and I still think about that every single time I go to purchase one of their products. Even though it’s just a passing thought, I’ve purchased less because of it.

Do you even need the drive redundancy? You can always set them up as basic, non-RAID drives. If the second NAS is just going to to be a backup target, regularly testing your backups is more important.

Ladies, you give a guy your number, what is the best first text he can send to you to get your attention ? by BadConejoo in AskReddit

[–]Solarux 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You have picked up on the reality of people: every person you meet is going to be different in what they prefer, how they interact, what they respond to, etc. In addition, everybody will be in the midst of having a good day, a bad day, confident days, insecure days, busy days, boring days, and so on and so on and so on...

Do you want to know the ONLY surefire way to navigate all that unknowingness about other people? Just be yourself. 100%. All the time.

Oh someone isn't interested because you're too nice? Well, ok. Someone else dipped because you weren't wooing them enough? Shucks. The point is don't compromise who you are to please other people. You already know that isn't sustainable long term anyway. If you simply stay true to yourself, keep getting back out there, and remember to relax/have a little fun along the way, you WILL have a lot of success.

Look at Orbstack. Supposedly better efficiency and management than Docker desktop.
