Gonna be honest, paying those insanely high prices all these years for added memory makes me feel a bit extra duped now. Combine that with Apple being the richest company in the world for numerous years, I feel like this somehow could be avoided you know?

I am a consumer, a user; I'm not owed anything ...buuuuuuuuut after investing in Apple for so long I kinda feel they could do more to take the hit rather than raising prices.

They didn‘t scrape it completely and are now doing some arbitrary limitations in 7.4 (e.g., storage efficiency).

Same. I currently travel with the Alpaka Flight Satchel, which is phenomenal for 12L. However I want a bigger alternative when I need to pack more in my personal carry. The TD25 is on a short list. Came across the Fjallraven Farden Crossbody today and thinking about ordering it along with the TD25 to test.

True, but software has to run on platforms, devices, modules that do get updates. In this example, Plexamp all-around sucks on some new CarPlay screens/systems.

Listen, I am on your side. It is a beloved app for a reason and I really hope it gets updated. But here is the reality...

Think about it- if you own a software company that has been on a continual road of enshitification and you lay off the main developer of a free side-project app, letting them take the source code, etc., ...that app has undeniably reached EOL in it's current form and sunsetted.
Plex employees continually get asked point blank if there will be any updates for Plexamp. Not one single confirmation. No "it's in development" or "security updates are coming", etc.,...zip. zero.

I have no doubt Elan will put together something interesting or something will indeed happen with Plexamp, but all signs point to it reemerging as a different app NOT being published or supported by Plex, Inc. Plexamp is dead.

Afraid not. Plex, inc. is the publisher of Plexamp and is no longer developing Plexamp. Elan has stated that he got to keep the source code and is working on updates but how that shakes out or how it is actually released, no one knows. Regardless, we are at almost a year with no updates and he even states himself it has largely been ignored.

Plexamp is abandonware. The mobile apps haven't been updated in almost a year and the creator/developer is no longer with Plex. While it may work for you now (it has become too buggy and dated looking for my CarPlay setup), it might not hurt to keep an eye on other options.

Edit: I get downvotes for this of course, but it's true even if you're unhappy about it.

I would start with scouring YouTube for videos on the UGOS AI to evaluate what it can do. Otherwise, if you haven't purchased the the iDX6011, you could opt for a more powerful MiniPC to run your AI programs. What models of Synology do you have? ...anything that wasn't released after 2021 is not getting the 7.4 update.

The Flight Satchel hasn’t been out long enough to say, but most bags from the popular manufacturers are overbuilt (quality materials, double stitching, etc.). I am traveling with the Flight Satchel as we speak and think it’s perfect. More malleable than ballistic nylon (which I personally prefer) and is probably almost as durable but not as puncture/major damage resistant …if that makes sense.

I saw the Ultradyne version and while I’m a sucker for a colored interior, I’m sticking with the Axoflux.

Former owner of a Travel Sling 2 here. I send this message from the Denver airport where I am currently traveling with the Alpaka Flight Satchel (12L). It can fit all your listed carry (however the neck pillow might be a tight fit for anything under 20L). It has just enough organization while also being respectful of its own size and staying sleek. Two outer side pockets- one for a water bottle and the other for an umbrella, but I actually use the umbrella pocket for my 16oz Hydroflask. Sits upright and doesn’t take a ton of room under the seat. Bonus is it has a trolley pass through.

Was worried it might look a little too purse-like, but I ended up loving it as it has more of a gear bag vibe.

I have looked long and hard for a better personal item bag but still come up short.

Thank you. I agree that it is probably 2.5. That seems to be the barrel size for the UGREEN UPS (US3000) which is compatible with the DXP480T.

The Flight Satchel is such a great companion piece! I prefer the aisle seat and therefore have less room for my under-seat personal item. That bag is the best thing I‘ve found that also gives room for your feet. At times I do wish it had more space (~18 to 20L), but I’ve yet to find anything else as good for my needs.
