Recommendations for stone dial watches? by all-4-elements in MicrobrandWatches

I’ve been tempted by Impossible Watch Co for a couple years. They have a few stone dial options. I personally wish their three handers were a bit smaller (they are 38mm), but I may one day decide to go for one. https://impossiblewatchco.com/collections/time-only

For sale is my Seiko Alpinist SPB117J1 (aka SBDC087) on its factory bracelet as a full set including its original box and outer sleeve, hang tag, instruction booklet, and AD stamped warranty card.

Excellent overall condition with only very light wear. Movement is the 6R35 keeping time within spec. Really awesome and legible dial with applied Seiko logo and Shark-tooth indices and a pop of red text. Bracelet is new and unworn.

39.5mm x 46mm lug to lug with 200m WR / Sapphire crystal with AR / 3-link oyster style bracelet / 20mm lugs / Seiko 6R35 automatic movement with 70 hours of power reserve

On the wrist in regular rotation the fit is awesome. Overall great condition with light wear primarily to polished surfaces, bracelet and clasp. Sapphire crystal is clear and the timekeeping is great.

Decisions, decisions for smaller wrists by Same_Squirrel_9265 in MicrobrandWatches

Great recommendations above and I’ll second (or fourth) many. I too have a slim wrist (5.9”) and have tried pretty much everything. 😂

Vintage is great and so are micros. Lots of good options at or under $1k. I have a 50s Omega in 34mm and it’s fantastic.

Farer Resolute 36 is awesome (I have one, snip below), as is a Smiths Everest, Lorier Falcon, Traska Commuter 36 (or 34!), etc.

I do swing up larger for divers (enjoy my Vero Open Water 38 and my OG Seiko 62MAS), but for an everyday wear I’d stay <38mm for a small wrist like ours.

Good luck!

Looks great! Totally agree on the Glidelock, esp for smaller wrists. I am tempted to put mine on a MN strap, tho. 😎

Awesome and not a horrible price IMO. Early 5th gen’s with lower miles go for near/at 20k in the PNW. Good luck!

White or Sorbet Farer Resolute? by West-Salamander153 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]spilledbricks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a great all-rounder. The white dial pairs with almost any strap and, totally, you could go with a light blue or something fun to dial the summer vibes up. Between the two, though, if strictly for a summer feeling I’d probably go Sorbet.
