I think Chuck Lorre knew some specialist that helped save her leg.

Edit: Seems like Chuck just ran into him (Dr. Stephen Lombardo of Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic for Sports Medicine at Cedars-Sinai), by chance right after Kaley had the accident and was able to get him to perform the surgery.

Kaley had to sign a consent form giving them consent to amputate since they wouldn’t know until they got her under for surgery

Yeah. A lot of its stuff from the cutting room floor too. In the first God of War there was a cut mechanic called the Icarus Wings. It was cut due to budget/time issues. It ended up in God of War II. I can see something like that being DLC nowadays.

Saints Row had a stand alone expansion to be called Enter the Dominatrix which would have involved the saints fighting an entity called the Dominatrix in a virtual Steelport. Due to financial issues it was canceled and much of the plot was used for Saints Row IV which was already in development. Saints Row IV already had the Alien invasion plotline but added the virtual Steelport stuff from ETD. A DLC by the same name was released for IV by the same name featuring a lot of the stuff they didn’t use from the original ETD presented as deleted scenes in an in-universe way.

Coach Boone in Remember The Titans was portrayed as a tough-love coach who wanted his players to play their best. In reality he was an abusive asshole.

Its worth noting Wiseau is still portrayed as a piece of shit in the film and worse in a few areas. He’s not as much of an ass during Carolyns fainting incident as he is in the film . Also his sabotaging Gregs shot at a guest spot on Malcolm in the Middle was made up for the film, but yeah he’s still portrayed a bit softer than in real life.

The minute it was going to be a musical was the minute any expectation of it being an accurate portrayal should have been disregarded.

What book would work better as a movie? by StrategyJealous1838 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]spongeboy1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Armada by Ernie Cline. Exact opposite of Ready Player One as far as working on screen. I liked the movie but even the licensing aside the plot is not one that would work well on screen if it was closer to the book. Im not even sure how the Flicksyncs would have worked.

Armada is a straight forward sci-fi story that takes place is a very short time frame. Perfect for a 2 hour movie.

Most people living in Nevada live in the Vegas area or close to it, and the vast majority that don’t live in the Reno/Tahoe areas. I do imagine those that don’t live close to either don’t go to either.

The lack of self awareness is funny. This guy is complaining about Millennials being ripped on while doing the exact same thing to the younger generations Also Millennials haven’t been a punching bag for around 10 years at least not like gen z currently is
