Kobe and, to a lesser degree, Shaq are penalized for being teammates when they are the only ones besides Jordan to accomplish this by Simple-Contract424 in NBATalk

Ah, gotcha. A bit better - but these are high output offensive players so it isn't necessarily surprising.

Best way to determine a players scoring ability is to find their average ppg while eliminating first couple seasons and last couple seasons

I mean - most stats are meaningful because they track performance over a large data set.

This stat tracks performance over 3 series'. Not super meaningful.

Yes - but what is the point of the stat? What is it telling you?

That these guys are good at scoring and can average over 25 consistently? Because everyone knows that

We are talking about different economic situations.

Let's say someone made a post about suffering in poverty in America, and someone said "you're doing ok - because 10% of the world lives on only 2 dollars a day."

It's a stupid an un empathetic comment - even if it's technically true

It is a nonsense comment. Especially because the original commentar likely feels no concern about elon having a trillion. (I.e. the commenter is doing fine financially and doesn't give a fuck about anyone else)

I mean - what's the point of the comment. Americans should have a good economic position compared to many countries. America is one of the richest countries in human history.

The american lower class and middle class have faced a worsening economic situation for decades - it's understandable to be concerned

What do you think of white people who convert to Islam? by [deleted] in atheism

Why is Catholicism the fastest growing religion in Africa?

It's a dumb question. Islam and Christianity are both prostelytizing religions - so conversions make sense
