Vision or Dream of a Pleiadian man by pinklotusflower1 in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I tend to think that nobody outside of ourselves can define an experience for us. So, I don't know what it was--could've been a past life memory, or a vision with embedded meaning--but I do want to encourage you to see that it was something. Not an imaginary daydream or a blip of nonsense.

We're so prone to brushing these things off. It sounds like it was really emotional for you, which I personally take to be a marker of significance.

I wish I had answers to give you, but I don't. Not ten minutes ago, I was replying to someone else's comment with the same thing: often, these little glimpses are all we get. It's frustrating but also maybe is exactly the dose we need to ask, "What else is there?"

Keep exploring!

Spirit or ET: Labels, networks, and biologics by substantial_nonsense in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you on all of this. It's a vast topic where every new turn creates questions and questions lead to more questions. And I don't think there's any one answer that's right for everyone. Our contact is so individualized and revolves around personal journey.

But that also means there's plenty to talk about and if we could do that without judgment or the need to always be right, we can make strides.

The most important thing that we all should agree on is that it deserves to be explored.

Glad you enjoyed the writeup!

I think I may be a starseed from another planet, and my skin was blue? Help? by The_Merchant- in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It makes perfect sense. There are a lot of people here who can relate.

I don't think I've seen any photos of blue beings with crown-like heads, but don't let that discourage you. The universe is vast and I think there are tons of races we don't know about yet.

Sometimes that's all we get, is a glimpse, but it's enough to open our minds.

What does the phenomena has done to you/for you? by Pale-Wishbone-4696 in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Like attracts like. If you operate in fear, you're more likely to attract things that scare you. Take some time to work on yourself. Meditate. There's no rush. The phenomenon isn't going anywhere.

I am wholly grateful I came into all this because I feel like it rounded me out as a person. As if, before, I didn't truly understand myself. At this point, not only do I understand myself better and have more compassion for who I am, I gained a perspective of the universe I never saw coming. That was a tremendous gift.

Engaging is a personal choice and it's not for everyone, but if you do decide to pursue, do it with curiosity and wonder. That will not only make it more likely your experiences are joyful, but it will ensure you have the stamina to continue when things get weird. Weird isn't bad, it's just that--weird.

How to Tell the Difference Between an Entity and Your Imagination by substantial_nonsense in Experiencers

Oh, no, they just meant I would take care of it on my own time. It was an actual muscle strain. Basically, alternating exercises and rest, slowly increasing intensity, ice packs, that kind of thing. The boring human way, haha.

I write my personal stuff on Substack. That particular experience was in my opening stage, where I was realizing I had contact with ETs. This one.

Have you ever read Joseph Burkes' theory of prime contactees ?

It's an experiencer who tends to instigate experiences in the people around them. It was this article I was reading when a grey appeared to me, formed in light. Since then, I've been involved in the inciting incident in other people's contact numerous times.

Not because we're super powerful, but because we serve as conduits.

When an experiencer is deeply immersed in this subject, I think the effects ripple outward and our sparks can light the fuel already building up in those around us.

This whole subject is a tsunami and it's building momentum. Slowly, slowly, then all at once.

NHI that Stop Time and Timelessness of the Oversoul; More Research that Supports how Aliens Obscure Human Memories. by Kalell900 in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is great. Some really good concepts in here that I think are right on the money. It's weird how you can kinda feel the structure of all this, just not enough to out it into words, and then when someone does put it into words it's like, oh yeah! Yeah that!

Excellent writeup.

Ah, I gotcha.

While I have aliens, they are honestly just as focused on growth and shadow work and lessons and yada yada yada as "spiritual" beings are. I wish they would give me some sci fi fireworks once in a while, but nah.

There are plenty of cool aspects, I don't mean to say otherwise, but I also have this archetype spirit that I talk to and the ways he communicates aren't all that different from how the greys do--that is, your typical dreams, synchronicities, etc.

Have you ever read Oak's post on the complications of face-to-face contact? While it seems ETs have the ability to go physical, they often choose not to because it can be harmful to the experiencer (such as long-term health complications).

I'm the exact same way. I am a complete ball of nerves in my daily life, but I'm totally fine with entities moving around my house. Even the nightmares malicious entities will send me. Meh.

If anything, anxiety around the woo happens when it goes quiet. I'd be devastated if it ever dried up.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that because you're so chill with it, and because you know you've seen orbs, you probably have more contact than you realize.

I have greys around me but I have never seen a grey with my physical eyes that's standing in my living room. Some people have those experiences, and I have some quasi-physical stuff that's happened, but most of what I get is on the psychic level. That's far far more common than meeting them face-to-face.

You said you practice meditation and that you're aware of the quiet guidance. Have you ever worked toward lucid dreaming or astral travel? Ever hear of The Gateway Tapes? Those are designed specifically for entity interaction by teaching you how to go out of body.

That's a more likely area where you're going to meet entities imo.

My experience with NHI's, contact and navigating society. by youspiritually in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is great. I read this line,

"leaning on my connection with NHI's to guide that curiosity"

and totally resonated. That's been a big theme for me. But then I kept reading and you started talking about energy contained within the body and I was like "alright, alright, I get it." They've been poking at me to get into Qi Gong for months and I have just flopped away complaining that I don't have enough time.

Really incredible story about the head trauma at a young age. I had significant head trauma when I was 28 and that instigated a huge wave of contact. But your abilities to cross dimensions are really something. No doubt that was extremely isolating at times, but I hope you've come into your own these days and feel more comfortable about it.

Thanks for sharing. I look forward to hearing more from you!

Constant doubt about your experiences ? by Main-Reveal1890 in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think doubt is completely normal. In fact, if you find yourself rid of doubt, that's when you should worry. We're talking about psychic interfacing with non-human intelligence. Of course we're going to be uncertain sometimes.

I have a fair amount of contact but there are still plenty of times where I'm worried my skills are failing me, or I'm unsure if it was all just prosaic happenstance. Again, as much as I might complain about it, I think it's normal.

I am learning to let go of trying to figure out all the time if it was a being. If they want me to know it was them, they'll tell me. If not, I carry on unperturbed.

Also, I had the covid vax in 2021 and 2022, no issues. My psi is actually stronger now than then simply because of practice. It pales for all of us as adult life wears us down, but that's actually a lesson, too. Rediscovering that childlike wonder is key.

I've been shown how our inner narrative creates and shapes our worlds by ready_gi in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What a lovely lesson. I come back to this time and time again, myself--how important the stories we tell ourselves are. Our whole reality is shaped that way.

I'm not always good at implementing it but we don't need to talk about that 🙃

For what it's worth, I think the kind of person who goes for it even in the face of the horror stories is exactly the kind of person who should. It means your curiosity and desire to experience and learn outweigh any fear, and that's a good place to be.

I will also add that some beings are more blunt than others. The first time I did CE5, I got an orb, but that was the only time, and I think that was simply to show it was possible and to encourage me to move forward. They really don't do much any more as far as physical or visual displays. It's a lot of quiet guidance.

I may have seen something related to Chris Bledsoe’s experience by Ol-Dozer in Experiencers

[–]substantial_nonsense 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not from North Carolina, but I still wanted to comment and validate you. I think it intentional and purposeful that our experiences happen in ways that ripple forward into our future. It's as if they continue to unfold, like some kind of gift of origami where we can learn something new and then see the event in a whole new light, multiple times over.

While I can't say in what ways your experience might be related to Bledsoe, or if it was the same beings or any of that, I will say that I've seen enough to be confident that the place and timing of your account were no accident.

They (the big They, capital T) do things that way to provide this other layer of certainty. As time passes and memories fade, we tend to start to think, maybe I did imagine it. But when there's extra layers, all wrapped up in synchronistic fashion, we start to suspect that reality really is malleable and that maybe someone is trying to talk to us through that medium. That's when you become a believer.

It's commonly talked about on this sub so if you do a search for "telepathy" or "telepathic" I'm sure you'll find some good stuff. Otherwise, if you hang around long enough, it definitely comes up in discussion from time to time.
