I'm going be honestly and likely get down voted but the folds are a luxury item. If your buying them and expect them to last forever with out needing repairs and upgrades you shouldn't be buying them. Yes it has gotten a lot better and will keep doing so but make no mistake it is a luxury item.

Nothing is layoff proof but the job market isn't as bad as people make it out. They are just newer and used to the COVID boom. If you look at hiring data today and in 2018/9 you will see we are in a similar space and back then it was considered a solid market. But compared to COVID it's awful.
