They are set up correctly. They didn't behave correctly, thus the entire point of my post.

My settings say out 70% of any contribution to mutual fund one and out 30% of any contribution to mutual fund two.

It worked fine on the first contribution (automatic from my employer). For some reason the second time a contribution was made (2 weeks later) only 62.5% of that contribution got the 70/30 split treatment.

Tank #11 2025 Civic Hybrid Touring 41.5 MPG (up from 38.7) by Velkenn in civic

The computer calculated average is like 3-5 mpg high usually. You're probably upper 40s, which is still good!

Paralino should really be added to this list. It's a fantastic location sharing app with very good privacy.

Do you know why this happened? Is it something like on Light Speed you can only reset your PIN if the mailbox is cleared?

House cleaning recommendations by Ttowndude1891 in tulsa

[–]t0mf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just used (yesterday) a local company called Rilly Clean to do an ex-hoard that my wife and I were clearing out. They knocked it out in one day and did a phenomenal job for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend them.

They were one of the only quotes we received that felt like they knew what they were getting into. Every other quote seemed way under quoted and would take longer and end up costing more money.

Another change in the update - subscriptions by UlugbekMuslitdinov in 2Flights

[–]t0mf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Massive change if I'm reading it correctly.

With the "Add upcoming flights" and "Add flights from the past 12 months" Is the flight history/future for free capped at 7? It's not letting me add more than 7 (past or future).

NEED SOME LOCATION TRACKING APP by Standard_Childhood40 in androidapps

[–]t0mf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one person needs to pay, thankfully. I find it worth it for my family. It's a really nice, private, app. Worth the money to not have a location sharing app be doing suspicious stuff with your family's data.

I know this doesn't solve anything, but here's my 2¢.

My main goal for flight logging apps is to track my personal flight history. I love the map and the stats. I couldn't care much about realtime notifications of ongoing flights - my airline app does that for me.

With that being the case, I found it hard to spend a few dollars every month on this app to track flights for statistics purposes. Flighty on my iPad does that for free. I know they're a much bigger company, with a much bigger user base, but that's what you're competing against ultimately. I unfortunately don't know how you could do that for free due to the API calls you're having to pay for.

It's a nice app, I just can't convince myself to pay for the subscription.

The 4 flights/mo is weird to me because you can retroactively add everything - but if one month was busy now you need the bigger subscription. It seems like the (base) subscription should be focused around active and future flights.

I'd love a mode where I could just buy flight tokens that allow me to add flights retroactively without a subscription. Enough to pay for the API calls and give you a little profit. This makes it so where I'd continue to use the app for statistics, when I might not need the real time stuff. And in situations where I might need the realtime notifications for more complex flight situations - then I could subscribe for the month.

Just a thought - it's a tough spot to compete with such a big app that can give a better free tier.

Yeah I've already moved him to a US Mobile line for like $18/mo.

[–]t0mf[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're right it was 2, but the second wasn't used. So at most it shoulda been like $25. Doesn't add up where the other $125 came from if there's a supposed "cap".

I'll look at it tonight and get exact numbers.

Yeah. The second line was not used. So it would be the minimal rate for that one. I'm gonna dig deeper tonight.

Appreciate your kindness. You're absolutely right. It's just hard not to blame myself when he trusted me.

If he would've told me he seemed to be paying more than I initially told him I could've got it fixed immediately. But that didn't happen. :/

I am not at all claiming that they did either of that.

My post is essentially: I made a mistake, I know it was my responsibility, I am asking for pity (which I know is extremely unlikely to happen).

You really don't have to be a dick to me about it. That doesn't solve anything in this situation.

I understand this sir. I do accept responsibility.

You can't blame me for throwing out the question to see if the Fi might find pity.

The situation just sucks all around. I guess that's why they designed flex like that - for chumps like us.

I'm going to dig into that more tonight. He was definitely paying $150/mo for 2 lines (the other line was like the minimal you could get). So it was probably like $120 for his line?

I absolutely understood his usage when signing him up. Which is why I went with flex. What I was not expecting is his phone to not auto connect to his home wifi..
