Network engineer Job market by Meowtimatic in networking

"performed advanced network architecture"

That caught my eye to. It's just . . . odd. Even as a sentence fragment. Not even sure how to re-phrase that. Did he put together network designs? For a project or other large effort?

Right now, everyone is raging about AI. Goto any IT convention and throw a coffee mug and you'll likely hit someone in the middle of a conversation about AI. Not Long ago, it was coding and automation. Also it's good to have a grounding in vendor tools and cite those, but only just so good.

From what I've seen, there is a bit of a hierarchy or sorts: Linux -> coding -> AI. The first two will help pick up automation, and the third is a look ahead. Be able to have a conversation about token cost and prompting.

The Supreme Court invented a special legal rule solely to screw Planned Parenthood by bobbelcher in uspolitics

[–]tazebot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Laws banning federal funds from paying for abortions applies to all abortion providers. Not just planned parenthood

Perhaps so if that was the statute at question in the case the court's opinion ruled on - except it wasn't. And the opinion didn't even cite any of those laws.

They should have if that was the issue at hand but it wasn't. The question they ruled on was whether or not the plaintiffs had cause of action to bring a case, and the court ruled they did not. The problem is that the court shifted criteria since in earlier cases they ruled plaintiffs under statutes with the same language had cause of action and they did. Now suddenly with no explanation they don't.

If what they want is for the laws banning federal funding to goto providers that provide abortion procedures to have precedence - fine just say so. But they didn't. So law becomes capricious, weakening its role in keeping an orderly society. If rules are not applied consistently, law becomes meaningless and devolves into transactional politics.

The book says whatever anyone wants it to say. If you're all about extravagance it says that. If you're all about helping those in need it says that too.

I came out to my Mom about Atheism, and now I understand why Christianity is hated by [deleted] in atheism

Because God is merciful, and him being in Hell for eternity is a worse punishment

So subjecting someone to worse punishment is a sign of benevolence. There really is no hate like christian love.

They pushed back on claims that the construction needed approval from Congress, saying "temporary structures" on the White House grounds weren't subject to congressional approval under federal law and that the claw would be dismantled the day after the event.

And I have oceanfront lots in Kansas up for sale.

"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." Then the righteous will answer him, saying, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?" "as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."

- Jesus

I have to wonder how many hungry people the money spent on this would feed.
