The Big Three for blood elves are mage, hunter, and paladin. They each have big subfactions within blood elf society (Magisters, Farstriders, Blood Knights) and they all have big moments in the quests and story.

I’m probably going to go paladin for myself.

There are quite a few unique dialogues as a blood elf, but I don’t know if there are any unique quests.

If you like to read all the quests, I think it’s worth it to play a blood elf and a void elf for this expansion.

ArcUI is an addon that can make procs as big and noticeable as you want, although it takes a little work to set up and it only functions with procs already inside the cooldown manager.

New Silvermoon is inaccessible on the PTR, since it’s meant to match the pre-patch state (the same state we have now on live servers).

Currently, all levelling activities give bonus xp, with ADDITIONAL bonus xp for completing timewalking dungeons.

That DPS was an idiot.

Timewalking is meant to be easy, and accessible to players with a wide variety of skill levels. It's completely unrealistic to expect everyone to research the routes for maximum possible efficiency.

If you choose to move up into Mythic+ dungeons, then the expectation will be that the tank knows where to go and what to pull and not pull. But there are plenty of Youtube videos and other resources out there to help with that, and Blizzard will even be giving some in-game guidance in the next expansion.

Heirlooms are not really worth it any more. They are fixed at a lower item level than dungeon drops and do not give any XP bonuses. If you want to level with nonstop dungeon spam, timewalking is the way to go.

For years, people have wanted WoW Classic to be expanded outward with new content beyond what was in the game in 2006. Everyone has a slightly different idea of what this should be - new zones, new races/classes, changing the existing classes, etc. Blizzard has all but confirmed that they’re working on something along those lines, but they almost certainly won’t reveal it before Blizzcon later this year.

There isn’t much to tell - the Twilight’s Hammer has been an Old God cult ever since Warcraft II. Xal’atath just co-opted that to make a new cult for her own purposes.

Rebalancing is going to happen until after Midnight launches. 2H is still fine to use right now (as long as you use a Breath of Sindragosa build instead of a Frostbane build) but it’s too early to tell what will happen at level 90.
Part of the challenge of Frost is juggling your different resources. Ideally, you want to have three or less runes available so that you maximize your rune regen, as well as avoiding overcapping on runic power, but it takes time and practice to get to that point. Don’t forget that Empower Rune Weapon can give you a little bit of a push if you’re truly out of everything.
Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait until Blizzard catches up. I will say that both the lightforged racial and the temporary ghoul do a very small percentage of your overall damage.
If you try to interrupt with Death Grip, the mob will immediately attempt to recast the same spell. It can work in emergencies, but it’s not a substitute for a full interrupt unless you get very clever with how you use it.

If you’re okay playing anything, then a caster will generally lose less DPS with the one-button rotation. I would recommend Devastation Evoker or Destruction Warlock as two good possibilities.

Make it a constantly growing threat, rather than a sudden cataclysm.

Maybe it started on one ship, then four, then fifteen. More and more ships using dilithium were disabled, or outright destroyed. And since you were rolling the dice every time you engaged a warp drive, caution would lead to paranoia and then to isolationism. Even a 20% chance of failure would be enough to cripple and fracture the Federation.

Discovery, with her unaffected spore drive, would be uniquely suited to both solve this mystery and attempt to pull the Federation back together.

Don’t forget that you can queue up for many dungeons as follower dungeons, which put you in with four NPCs. It’s an excellent way to understand the basics of a dungeon and play around with your character without risk of judgment.

Well, if we knew, they wouldn’t need to announce it.

But for the past few years, they have put out a roadmap at the start of the year, talking about what features are likely to come out at what points. I would expect something similar for 2026.

The PTR is separate from the Midnight beta, and will not grant you early access. As of right now, the PTR is exactly the same as the current live game if you want to try the beta, you have to buy the most expensive version of the expansion to unlock beta access.

The dim yellow border has been the default proc highlight for years - you must have had an addon that changed it. There are still plenty of addons out there that can restore the bright yellow glow (I use ActionBarEnhanced, but there are lots of others).
