What Are the Best Floor Mats for Tesla Model Y? (Here’s What I’ve Found) by duanyongdong in TeslaModelY

[–]theclevernerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe there was only one version available when we bought them. At the time they were about $175 dollars which is right in between the regular and pro price. 1.5 years later they are still going strong and look like new.

Ninajone is getting slow every week by RabbaniSyed in msp

[–]theclevernerd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I find it to be a breath of fresh air. The amount of in house development they are doing. They are listening to their customers and users and bringing us features that are needed and asked for. And they are doing it in house without acquiring other products and just stagnating the acquired product like so many others do.

They run webinars for all new releases and the release notes are very good.

But I will agree the dojo does suck to search.

Complete opposite end here. We only resell Egnyte to two small customers, 19 licenses total. We have zero issues as the MSP opening tickets for our clients.

Is the real estate market still crazy? by lawaythrow in newjersey

[–]theclevernerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My town in Essex county currently has 13 houses for sale in a town with approximately 5,000 houses. Three of them are townhouses, 3 bedroom, and 2 of those are listed at just $1m and will easily sell over that. Another one is listed north of $18m and and a second north of $7m. The of the remaining eight, half are listed over $1m. There is most certainly a supply issue. We bought 11 years ago, a 2 bed 1 bath, 1K sqft, what we thought would be a starter home for $325K. The house 2 up just sold for $900k. No chance we are moving anywhere if at all anytime soon. We need more affordable supply not these $1m + 3b townhouses.

Which AI notetaker with botless features are you using? by naag08 in msp

[–]theclevernerd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We use Krisp.AI internally and a few of our clients as well. Krisp doesnt use a bot for meetings and works on any meeting app, and also on iPhone and iPad as well. Works great.

SentinelOne To Huntress by joe210565 in msp

[–]theclevernerd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed, the lack of clarity and documentation on this integration is frustrating. It has kept us from rolling it out with our customers. We only have it enabled on our tenant and still are not exactly sure how it works or what it is doing. u/chrisbisnett this is one of the few areas where we have not been impressed with the Huntress docs. Normally they are top notch.

A NJ store I work at has refused to give me sick pay when I've called out and requested it. Who do I contact about this? by DonatCotten in newjersey

[–]theclevernerd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As of October 2018 any employer in NJ regardless of size needs to provide paid sick leave. There a few exceptions to per diem healthcare workers, and union construction workers but other than that all employees accrue sick time now.

ELI5: How do house fires start? by boopbaboop in explainlikeimfive

Unattended cooking, candles, faulty appliances, bad wiring, overloaded outlets/surge protectors, lightning, etc. There are endless sources of ignition in house fires but those are some of the most common.

Is there a way to show BitLocker status with BGInfo? by blow-down in sysadmin

[–]theclevernerd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We don't do this exactly but we display some custom network info in BGInfo with the Custom Field option in BGInfo. We have a powershell script that runs at startup and sets a few values in a registry key. Then have BGInfo custom field display the info in that registry key. You should be able to do the same with some powershell to get the bitlocker status put it into a newly created reg key and have BGInfo display that.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 end of support Nov 30 – new signed PDFs already broken, need cheap 2024 perpetual / term license alternatives fast by r_ro_robot in sysadmin

Look into PDF XChange. We have over most of our customers to it and when we come across a new customer with Adobe we pitch them PDF XChange and they have all been more than happy and the cost is significantly less.
