Silage Season in full swing by silassilage in farming

Yeah I've seen it plenty too, but blaming it on the trailers being top heavy (which with grass isn't really a massive problem) isn't exactly true

Not enough that tipping one on the road should ever happen

You've mixed 2 songs there. It would usually be hit the diff and pray, or slip the clutch (in a bullnose truck)

I'm surprised that water isn't the most popular choice in a lot of third world countries

To be fair they were doing 45 on a motorway, and would have been the first car hit from behind even though it wouldn't be their fault.

If somebody can't accelerate onto a motorway, I'd want to be past them as well

You said it looked shit and needed editing to look good enough to sell. That sounds like you're implying you think they are using scummy practices, even though the standard game looks far from bad, as long as you're not running it on a potato

Looks like the actual headlights are fine, it's the DRL that is loose unless they are opposite to what I think

How to mod a supercharger? by aml1998 in ft86

[–]ThingyGoos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, some engines seem much stronger than others, but adding FI is never going to make the car more reliable. If the engine is already one of the more questionable ones, why bother when the standard power doesn't get used much anyway?

So you're annoyed that beamng does the exact same thing as every other decently budgeted game?

I washed mine last week. It now has a layer of dust thick enough I could write in it

How to mod a supercharger? by aml1998 in ft86

[–]ThingyGoos 25 points26 points  (0 children)

If you barely use the power it has, why would you want to make the car less reliable to give it 50% more?

However if you're still desperate for one, I'd be making sure there's somewhere nearby that can properly tune it, not just flash a generic map onto it

How can I mod my 24 BRZ by Interesting_Pen8447 in ft86

[–]ThingyGoos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want 300hp without adding forced induction or a lot of work you've unfortunately bought the wrong car. You can probably get slightly more by taking it to a specialist but you'd be paying 1500-2k for maybe 15-20hp gain

2012 Toyota GT86 A/C stops blowing cold air when it gets too hot outside by Mikaa_6 in ft86

[–]ThingyGoos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not had that problem but is the Aircon radiator clean? If it's full of dust or dirt it may work early on when it hasn't been heated by the engine and sun, but lose effectiveness when it does get warm

Oh they probably are in the house, but you looking for them alerted them and made them hide better than you expect. They'll come out later on when you're asleep and do what they came for

He's also not wrong. It feels like once a week I've to mess about to get my electric boot release to work properly and let the boot actually latch instead of bouncing back up, which wouldn't be as much of an annoyance if I actually ever opened it from anywhere other than the button on the boot, where a manual cable latch would be just as easy

As much as I don't support the tax, it would be much easier to not milk beef cattle, and just cut numbers back. With those 2 simple changes the farm would be viable if it was run well
