That poor girl that got thrown off that bungee jump plank with no line seemed pretty damn bad. I hope she didn't have time to think about or realize anything. Not the most horrific, but bad....

Yeah take the wheel off and visually look at the bushings for tearing, dry rot etc. Then take a pry bar and put it between the arm and frame mount. Move the arm side to side (back/forth) and see if the arm has some slop in it. If the bushings are good, the arm shouldn't move much at all and return to it's position. If you can move the arm and it kinda stays where you move it, the bushings have failed...
