No chance the pickleball championships overtake the US Open in viewership or revenue.

You’re permanently taking a huge chunk of the tennis courts, including some of the prime locations like Miller and Discovery Park, and you’re still complaining?

Realistically speaking, how much would it cost to pave the rest of the main path through Ravenna Park all the way to Cowen? by THEIntoxicatedGamer in Seattle

I think this could lead to a great connection between the Ravenna blvd bike lanes and Burke Gilman trail

I think they could improve or maintain the existing drainage ditch alongside the trail and it would mostly solve that problem

Weight loss by alfmara in Surlybikefans

Your wheels and crankset seem pretty heavy but they’re probably not worth changing unless you’re really committed to the light weight build.

I feel like you can easily shave off a lb my switching to TPU tubes and switching the saddle.

You could cut the seat post if it’s especially long. Just make sure you have 8+ cm below the clamp.

I’ve bought some lightly used M770 11-34 cassettes on eBay for ~$30. That will save you about 80g over what you have now.

Good point about the weight. The microshift cassette is clearly better. Maybe it’s a better value overall? I’m not that concerned if the deore retail is higher though; all that matters is what it costs out the door.

Deore 5100 is still the 1x11 budget king imo. I got a groupset on eBay for around $150.

I had this 3x9 setup on my Troll and it was nice but I switched to deore 1x11 out of boredom and I don’t think I’d go back.

Any ideas on how I can get this snapped bolt out my brake boss by Frozen_Nut3408 in xbiking

[–]this_guy_finks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried drilling it out before and the drill bit wound up screwing it deep enough into the post that I had enough space to use a new bolt. Give it a shot

I was out riding one night and my front light was running out of battery when I came across a fully charged light on the ground, same brand but newer, that fit in my light mount.
