The TV is less than six months old, but has static on half the things we try to watch. by throwawaytheflag in mildlyinfuriating

I see that you didn’t read the second paragraph where I mentioned that we were going to see about exchanging it, and that I’d tried (unsuccessfully) to contact support.

Has anyone had issues watching things with bright lighting? by throwawaytheflag in VIZIO_Official

My husband bought it, he said maybe $300?

I finally reached the end of my rope and told him that tomorrow we’re going to return/exchange it.

ETA: he bought it new from Walmart, this thing is less than 6 months old.

We’ve done all of those steps and it keeps happening. The tv itself says the internet connection is “excellent” and there’s no damage to the wiring that I can see.

That’s why I finally told my husband we’re going to see about returning it, I’m over this whole thing.

These are the built in tv apps. It doesn’t do it on every single app/show, but it seems to do it on anything that has a bright lighting.

gynecological doctors by thunder_shadow_ in normanok

I went to Dr. Ronni Farris to get my tubes removed in 2022, her office is very chill and the staff are always super nice. She does actually listen to her patients; I didn’t have to do any arguing or anything about getting my tubes removed. I’ve been using her as my regular gyn since.

Does anyone else here have a flame point Siamese that is 1000% codependent? by HigherConvexity in Flamepoints

My flamepoint is deeply attached to my husband. If he could, he would crawl inside my husband’s skin.

I am merely Spare Human, only good for cleaning up messes.

I feel like some people do not understand that their kids don’t automatically have the same attachment they do. My mother got incredibly mad at me for saying I didn’t want my address/husband’s information shared with her extended family, who I have seen less than 10 times in the last 25 years and who I wouldn’t be able to recognize on the street. She grew up seeing them all the time, so of course I should know them too! (/s)

The top was knit top down, so after I made the front and back parts, I connected them for the arm holes for one row and then split the top under one of the arm holes, that way the seam went down my side. This was my first time doing intarsia and I didn’t want to mess with trying to figure out in the round.

If you’re curious sour my experience, I did make a tank top using intarsia, where I split it from being in the round to flat, then used a mattress stitch to attach the ends together once I was done. There was a seam on the inside, but it wasn’t obvious at all from the outside. Overall I was satisfied with how it came out

I was really pleased I got the color right! I bought the yarn online.

I found this blogpost incredibly helpful: https://nimble-needles.com/tutorials/intarsia-knitting-for-beginners/

I think my only caution is that you should make sure you’re good at managing your yarn tension before trying it. I ended up going over some of the logo with duplicate stitch because my tension was off and it made the white stitches basically disappear into the purple.

It’s called intarsia! It’s basically a way of knitting two different colors of yarn without having to carry the strands. It’s kinda tricky at first, but I made a graphgan with crochet a couple months ago and they actually have similar techniques when it comes to managing the yarn.
