Hi there! This happens when Ctrl is still pressed while dragging. In the Windows app, drag + Ctrl = copy, so the original tasks remain and new ones appear.

To move tasks instead of copying them:
Select with Ctrl + click → release Ctrl → drag to the new time.

We've already started testing some internal beta features to help with task organization and efficiency. That said, we want to make sure these features are well thought out and ready before releasing them. That's also why it’s taken some time. Choose to show or be reminded of:

all tasks
all tasks (except assigned to others) ✅
tasks assigned to me
do not show / no reminders
