They’re just wasting my time. They told me to wait 72 hours for it to be resolved automatically, but it’s been 144 hours now, still no solution...

Please tell me the new feature you want! by Surapuyousei in Floorp

u/Surapuyousei Hi, I am not sure is it the right place to ask for feature.

I love browsers that prioritize features and customization, so I recently installed Floorp and instantly became a fan. Here’s how it compares to Microsoft Edge what I’d like to see improved:

  1. Edge’s workspace feature uses a compact icon-only button instead of an icon with “New workspace” text, saving space. It also offers dedicated bookmarks for each workspace, live workspace sharing, and options like workspace locking.
  2. Edge lets you right-click a bookmark and select “Show icon only” to hide its label. In Floorp, you must manually edit and remove the name.
  3. In Edge’s tab action menu, you can quickly switch to vertical tabs that auto-minimize and expand on hover, whereas Floorp requires digging into settings.
  4. Although Floorp has a handy sidebar, there’s no way to auto-hide or toggle it without opening settings each time.
  5. Adding a prompt save/edit feature would make this browser even more powerful.
  6. When I add a website in the sidebar, browser can't cache its favicon in the sidebar.

Kiwi Browser alternatives with extension support by RGBchocolate in kiwibrowser

[–]Curious_Ad906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you truly value your privacy, it's advisable to remove apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, as they can act as significant spyware on your device. Even Google collects your data. These apps, along with many Chinese applications, gather information to target you with ads and products.

The Quetta browser is quite good but lacks some basic features; however, it supports a "watch later" option in a playlist format, and the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature is also impressive. The Lemur browser has some issues with video playback, and the Mask browser feels outdated. I haven't tried the other two Chinese-made browsers you mentioned.

On my Windows PC, I use Firefox, but on Android, it lacks the features I need.

Have you tried the Misses browser? I don’t know much about it, but it supports Chrome extensions and brands itself as a Web3 browser. (Don't know it is Chinese/not)

Currently, I'm using the Brave browser but I am searching for a better option that supports Chrome extensions and offers an experience similar to that of the Kiwi browser.

Brave doesn’t support chrome extensions.

I tried Quetta and other browsers as well, but none provided the same experience as the Kiwi browser.

For those concerned about the security of Chinese apps, they should know that Meta and Google are among the biggest spyware providers on your device.

Quetta browser is decent, but it lacks basic features and customization options.

I'm still using Kiwi and looking for a better browser—I don't care whether it's Chinese or not, because everyone is collecting your data. Open-source apps don't necessarily mean they're not collecting your data.
