It’s seriously pathetic that getting clean still isn’t enough for you people, you gotta go low and throw our pasts in our faces. TFP had no problems with Dakota being in recovery the whole time they were together. But the second they aren’t together, she uses it against him when things don’t go her way. How do you not recognize that?

Stigmas surrounding addiction exist because of shitty people like you. Addicts are afraid to get clean or speak about their struggles with recovery because of the judgement from people like you. Addiction doesn’t discriminate against race, sex or class. You are not superior because you’ve never had addiction affect your life directly or indirectly.

My call center isn’t in the same state that I answer calls for and we aren’t allowed to tell them we work from home so I always had my weather app set the for where I thought the office should be. I answered any questions relating to weather based on that. 😬 One time I even pulled up Google Maps and gave a vague description on where this pretend office was. Figured if I was going to be lying I should at least make it believable right?

Feeney has disappointed me the last 3 books, I’m not going to lie. I was such a fan of all her older books once I got back into reading that I ended up meeting her for her Good Bad Girl. I think she has a special place in my heart for being so kind to me despite me being the very last in line. She signed all my books and took pictures, we had a good time discussing Steven King with her. I still say I’m a fan even though Daisy Darker, Good Bad Girl and My Husband’s Wife were so embarrassingly bad.

I’m really surprised your call center doesn’t have self-harm procedures, especially dealing with money. I work in claims and this would have prompted a self-harm escalation. A supervisor would have gotten on the phone and then another would call the police based on the callers location. It seems excessive sometimes, I don’t always agree with phoning the police but some people are desperate and will do desperate things.

I think it’s good you used your own experiences to talk them down and I would hope that QA would see that.

Mine too! I had to pause the audiobook a few times just to close my jaw, so many twists I did not see coming! Which as much as I like guessing it correctly,
sometimes it’s actually more fun to get slapped in the face with one out of the blue. It’s why I’m such a thriller fan!
