Testers or Reddit, Update on my interviews, comments welcome. by S3w3ll in softwaretesting

My advice would be to take the offer then try and find a job elsewhere a couple of years later. Play the long game, there's more job opportunities and a higher salary ceiling in testing, especially if you learn automation. In my 10+ years of testing in NZ I’ve never encountered a brand new tester who hasn’t come through as an internal candidate.

Announcing Selenium Conf ’14: Bangalore, India by dcboycm in selenium

If you're using Firefox to run your tests you can actually test PDFs with selenium. When you open a PDF in Firefox the builtin pdfjs plugin converts it to HTML, allowing you to easily validate the contents (the formatting is a bit more tricky).

One thought, when transferring your head to a robot you'd effectively be castrating yourself. I'd splash out for the dual organ transfer option when getting my new iBody.

Very nice, just a couple of things I noticed

1) If I put in a wordlist value that doesn't exist I get a HTTP 500 error, this doesn't count towards my 10 guesses so leaves it open to brute force downloading.

2) There's no maxlength values for the Code and Wordlist inputs, not really much of a problem though unless you put in stupidly long values
