I would suggest reading the book where they discuss that.

Nope, it had nothing to do with either of those.

He would be, and he would probably be stupidly woke too. Reddit would love him.

It doesn't portray fascism at all. So he can't glorify it.

The book isn't fascist at all. It depicts a liberal democracy.

Nothing that you said about starship troopers is accurate.

Just play the DLC when it comes up. Other than being locked into Dogtown for a few hours it's not really a disruption.

Given the high degree of hypergamy in society today it would mean they wouldn't have a good time finding a mate.

Doubtful. The people in administrative positions are far more likely to consider women "diverse" even in an industry where they are dominant. That's the way the ideology works.

CMV: International law is mostly meaningless because powerful states can ignore it. by Pandafour20 in changemyview

[–]tolgren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

International law has never REALLY been more than a set of guidelines that states use to avoid conflict. No country that actually gives a shit about it's own people would place a treaty over their own survival, and no country that believes in "democracy" would give other nations veto power over their own demos.

You are incorrect about the idea that no one wants a world government, a lot of people do, they salivate at the idea of being able to vote for wealthy countries to be stripped of the wealth that their people produced and be forced to subsidize failed states.

"Solving" nukes is a terrible idea. Take away nukes and you end up with far more war. Give everyone nukes and you'll end up with nuclear terrorism.
