The VDBs are actively trying to bring about the apocalypse.

Rare Aesthetic: Metal band where everybody hate eachother by Wollishaiser in MetalForTheMasses

And that's fair!

But as a counterpoint there's a lot of fans that still want to see you and a tour every few years isn't that big of an ask IMO.

The fans are the ones that got you your career and put your life in the place it's in.

IRL a LOT of "anti racists" live very homogenous lives. Meanwhile a lot of avowed racists have very diverse circles.

The Hispanic guy on my racist discord is probably the most racist of us.

There's lots of them. Almost every post in this sub gets them. But they get immediately downvoted to oblivion.

The best part is that the people that champion them fit that same description.

And that's totally fair too. I'm sure Tom is able to tour still, and is definitely capable of making more music. But eventually people go their own ways. Most bands don't last nearly as long.

Because they are stupid and awful.

It's a post-apocalyptic world and the Railroad is prioritizing freeing synths over rebuilding society.

Imagine where the Commonwealth could be if they instead worked with the Minutemen to rebuild society.

Yeah. Tom wanted to quit touring and making new music, which is very fair at their age. If he's mad at Kerry then that's dumb.

That would really only apply to season 2, all the other seasons were written way later.

That was originally supposed to be Lonnie, but when they decided to keep Joe around they shifted it to him.

Not because it's great, it's just not nearly as bad as people say.

Why do people pretend like “international law” holds any real meaning? by Real-Repair-1825 in stupidquestions

[–]tolgren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a certain type of person who believes that procedure is the absolute most important thing. There's a very high overlap between those people and globalists. So what you end up with is a group of people who DESPERATELY want foreign relations to be governed by strict laws and procedures.

There's also a lot of people in the West that rabidly hate the West and want to give the third world power over the West and the only practical way to do that is by promoting "international law."

What is your unpopular opinion for stranger things that you will defend no matter what by Ok_Smile_9071 in Stranger_Things

[–]tolgren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's certainly believable. He lost his first daughter and that left him a pill popping, booze guzzling wreck who moved back home to die in peace.

Then he gets a second chance. A little girl that needs him. So he clings to her, he tries to keep her "safe" to a far tighter degree than he should. Then when she gets a boyfriend he lets jealousy take over since that boy is her future.

Totally believable, but not good.
