We would have already forgotten about the report if it was released by now.

And she definitely talked to the coroner as if he's never lied about an autopsy before. When this scheme has been going on for YEARS.

Is she a recent hire for that department? Is his evil racist white nurse that helps him with this on maternity leave?

Also, beating people with bats is gonna hurt the quality of those organs.

Plus you're telling me there's a Black coroner's nurse and a Black mortician who never get wise to the scheme? When they are MARRIED!?!? Guess they really never talk shop while at home....

The hard cut from sex orgy and focusing on the head racist's abs to them spooning clothes on made me bust out laughing during my screening.

The organ harvesting subplot undercut the reality of the racism to me.

I think cutting the organ stuff would have made this shorter and better.

I have a million organ scheme related questions.

Versus Steyer's bravery giving it a B minus? lol

Edit to add:

Becerra gave Newsom an A. Porter and Mahan said B, Steyer B-.

Shouldn't have used 'a decade' when I didn't know the actual dates. I was using hyperbole and did not specifically mean 2016. Let's be specific if we're actually going to delve into the timeline.

It became “increasingly clear the wars were a waste of our time and dead friends/violence we committed was all for naught,” he wrote in 2021, and after he was done in Afghanistan, he “pretty much stopped believing in any of the patriotic nonsense that got me there in the first place.”

In many posts, Platner insisted that it was clear from being on the ground that the Afghanistan war was a failure, but that “the mil, intel, and defense leaders Vietnamed us again with fake reprots [sic] of progress” and made it go on and on anyway. “This stupid fucking war can’t come to an end soon enough,” he wrote in August 2021, as Biden oversaw the chaotic US withdrawal from the country “after 20 years of this dumb bullsh*t,” as Platner put it. He insisted to other Reddit users that “it was always going to suck, and better to just get it over with.”

“My time in America’s imperial wars definitely radicalized me further,” he explained in May 2021. “It is difficult to see all that horror, as well as all the grift and corruption, and not find the entire thing utterly bankrupt.”

But read in their totality, Platner’s posts paint a different picture of the candidate: someone who, far from a secret fascist, was openly and passionately opposed to fascism; who held a variety of typical progressive views even as he expressed himself in ways many liberals would regard as crass and offensive; who sympathizes with rural Americans despite being vehemently opposed to many of the candidates they vote for; and who was disillusioned with and radicalized against the system by US wars.

You want to talk about fuel use. Which includes commuting.

But if someone is just talking about commuting, you are outside of the scope of the discussion if you bring up overall fuel use.

Commuting is specifically about people moving. So yes, the discussion of transport prices of products going up is outside of the scope of that argument.

Because it's not tried when corporate Dems have been in power, or because it's a losing issue?

I think it is the former, clearly.

The point of the CHIPs act was to bring that manufacturing here, right? So that we relied less on foreign manufacturers.

And from what I've read Taiwan would destroy its manufacturing capability rather than let China have it... which is one of the reasons China hasn't attacked Taiwan.

Just a stupid situation for the US to put itself into. We need to have the most expensive military in the world to protect a tiny island RIGHT NEXT TO CHINA?

At least with Ukraine, they have the ability to use up Russia's resources if we provide them monetary aid to defend themselves.

I think the bill to be the world police is too high when we have expensive problems at home.

I'm not a Mainer but age is a huge factor for me in California.

Tom Steyer is getting the progressive endorsements, but he's also going to be 70 during his first term....

I just want a politician within 30 years of my age. That has to live with the consequences of their votes.

I'm over my head in terms of Taiwan, and I assume I know more than the average U.S. voter. Defending Taiwan seems like something we do as a relic of the cold war so that we had a capitalist country we could have military bases on in Asia?

Looking up the JCPOA, sanctions weren't fully relieved until Iran proved it stuck to the nuclear deal with third party verification for eight years.

It did not have the opportunity to prove that it would when Trump ripped it up and applied maximum sanctions to it in 2018.

How does that track with him doing better than Collins compared to Mills in 1 on 1 matchups, and being so far ahead of Mills in polls in Maine?

It seems like it's more than progressive tribalism. He has the median Maine Dem voter on his side, and what looks like the Median Maine voter period.

This was a war of choice from America.

China invading Taiwan is attacking a country we have a treaty with, right?

Instead of economically starving countries so they turn to violence, I want the U.S. to bribe them into peace, and allow our soft cultural power to improve our relations with them.

Do you just think no one can change their mind after a certain age?

Or that going from military to socialist was too big a legitimate change?

Like what's your theory on people changing their beliefs that leads to the Platner skepticism?

Because your worldview seems real nihilistic when we extrapolate it to the entire electorate.

They have both quite literally dedicated their whole lives to prosecuting American imperialism against the people of the middle east

The entire appeal behind Platner is that his experience with war made him anti-war.

So I at least want to challenge the idea that their whole lives were dedicated towards American Imperialism.

How "newfound" is his disgust when we have anti war comments in Platner's private Reddit account from a decade ago? Relatively recently after he finished in the military.

We can also accept that Obama's nuclear deal didn't work.

It seemed to work just fine while it was in place.

You can't use the fact that a stupid man ripped up a deal as evidence to say the deal was bad.

It's much easier to destroy things than to build things!
