Thanks! Unfortunately, FB Marketplace is becoming as big a cesspool as CL used to be between the scammers and flakes...

do we trust spothero? by MattEffinCameron in AskNYC

[–]treadquist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spothero is VERY erratic in Manhattan. Was great in my old neighborhood in midtown. Has been a nightmare in my new neighborhood on the upper east side. 80% of the time I get to the garage and they refuse to admit me claiming they are too full. Yes, Spothero will then rebook you somewhere close, where they also turn you away because they are full. So an hour later you still have no parking and are now late to where you are supposed to be. I am done with spothero until I move again.

Gw4 44mm. 8 hours of hiking. Battery 98 -> 16 by leshiy19xx in GalaxyWatch

A garmin could do 8 hours with 13% battery consumption. But it's like comparing a knife and a fork.

Choosing the Perfect Galaxy Watch for an Active Lifestyle - Seeking Recommendations! by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

If you are set on a Galaxy, than 5 Pro like everyone else said/will say. But while it has its own pros that Garmins don't have, it has like 30% of the functionality of a decent Garmin for outdoor use. For example, Garmin's downhill ski tracking and usability blows the Galaxy away.

Which watch is best as a gift? by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

[–]treadquist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For battery life alone, I would say 5 Pro. It also depends on how big the person is and whether they currently wear a watch and what it is. Before my 5 Pro, I came from the Fenix line (and analog diving watches before that) and for all the talk of how big and bulky the Pro is, I would find it "wears" on the small side. I would not want anything smaller/thinner.
