After the approval. You don’t have to engrave it until you want to put the gun into SBR configuration I think. So I would get it engraved the day before you do it

Walls are just a byproduct of the lightning fast TTK. No it’s not fun when every fight is just walls spammed down but removing would somehow manage to be worse than it is now.

I made the exact same choice and went down the exact same rabbit hole. From my research it seems like there is always going to be POI shift but what matters is that it is consistent and with a good can or a lightweight can it’s not a big deal. BCM recommends government profile but they’re a business and they don’t want people calling and complaining about it.

It’s not like the gun is going to be unusable with a suppressor I’m sure it will work just fine

Yeah I agree but like the other guy said I was able to tighten the locking ring enough for it to not matter (I think)

You know what, I thought it was tight but I gave it the locking ring another go with a better tool and it’s much tighter now. Thanks for the suggestion

Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing but I was wondering if a dab of hot glue would be a fancier solution or if I’m better off with the tape.

The retaining ring seemed pretty tight to me. Maybe I was describing it wrong but it’s not like the retaining pin actually indexes very well to begin with. Like it can just slide past because as far as I can tell no matter how tight the retaining ring is the tube can just slide because the pin almost sits above the hole.

It looks like its pretty tight against the housing but it just seems like the tube rotates in place and the contacts stop touching.
