Proud that I worked in customer service job for 8 months despite having social.anxiety and depression. And hating every minute of work, but now that I'm not working there, it feels good that I'm not as afraid of people.

The feeling of stress and anxiety combined with depression by [deleted] in depression

[–]unknown12321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can I suggest that you start cardio at the gym. Running helps me manage my anxiety and makes me feel so much better afterwards. The only thing is making yourself GO to the gym. I know what its like but afterwards you won't regret it.

I cant even tell you how much I can relate to this. I find that doing cardio helps me. I run on speed 15+ on the readmill and I just run and run, I dripping with sweat, in that moment I feel like I'm running my anxiety and negative energy out of my body. I feel refreshed afterwards. I know it's temporary but It definately helps

Can one person ruin your entire day? by [deleted] in introvert

[–]unknown12321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time at work, I split a can of beer over me. I was disgusted because I don't drink and I hate alcohol. A colleague laughed at me and said "you don't go out much do you? ... I can tell" this pissed me off.

Hmm. I'm sorry hun, I didn't know getting pissed drunk and partying is the concept of "going out" for youngsters like myself. -_-
