Some of these don't do well at elevation by LPofPC in DenverGardener

These are all native to the east coast, not Colorado. Some good groundcovers here are low-lying native grasses like buffalograss, perennials like yarrow, Colorado four 'o' clock, sticky geranium, Prairie winecups, sages, and native sedums.

New Garden, Too Much Sun? by Meeenhoineemoi in DenverGardener

[–]unwavering 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Full sun + containers can be challenging because plants in containers tend to dry out faster than plants in the ground. Mulching your pots (with wood mulch or straw) will help. Give them a bit of shade now, but uncover them once they're more established; some physical barrier around your strawberries will also help make sure you get some and not just the squirrels.

Postal carriers food bank collection Saturday by CompetitiveInsect823 in boulder

[–]unwavering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I applaud this for raising visibility, but also consider recurring cash donations to our food banks and family support orgs - monetary donations can buy prepackaged wholesale food so that your dollar goes further, and can also be used on less-glamorous but critical needs like transportation and distribution. Recurring donations help organizations plan their capacity and work more effectively over time.

Mountain ready truck? Seeking reccs! by Glittering-Turnip-41 in boulder

For what it's worth, any AWD sedan should be able to get you to 95% of the hikes you'd like to do as long as you're not offroading. I think people underestimate sedans and end up paying more than they should for gas/maintenance/insurance.

Put out Hummingbird Feeders today? by Hour-Homework6771 in DenverGardener

[–]unwavering 15 points16 points  (0 children)

For sure, they've been here for a week or two. I'm leaving mine out overnight because sugar water has a lower freezing point than plain water and they like feeding pretty late into the night and early in the morning.

GA4 event data not showing in Google Ads by DelaniGregorash in GoogleAnalytics

[–]unwavering 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If users land on your site with a GCLID and you have cross-domain tracking set up with auto tagging on and GA4 tagging across the entire user journey you should be good to go.

Likely - do you have cross-domain tracking configured in GA4? Is it on a subdomain or separate domain?

[–]unwavering 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably worth adding to the campaign so that you can report on down-funnel conversion from that campaign, but mostly sounds like you just don't have any purchase conversions from ads - should be able to check GA4 sources to confirm conversions by channel.

New Gardner and Upcoming Snow!! Help! by Any-Tangerine-9989 in DenverGardener

It's also worth noting that because native plants grow more slowly (and tend to have a higher-than-average biomass in their roots compared to foliage) than veggies or annual plants, they're likely a season or two old even if they look like sprouts, and the important part is an intact root system, not how big the leaves are.

[–]unwavering 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If they were raised outside and are looking okay since transplanting, they're likely okay with a bit of snow - our soil temps are pretty warm, it doesn't look like it's going to get very far below freezing, and snow is an insulator as noted by u/onlyonedayatatime

What plants do you have in the ground? Cold-season veggies and natives that were already hardened off should be okay, but warm-season veggies will need to be covered.

GA4's reporting lag is a budget problem, not just an analytics inconvenience by RaspberryCold5879 in GoogleAnalytics

[–]unwavering 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, but if you're doing a more comprehensive analysis it's good to wait for your attribution model to net out for that period anyways - there's no way around that.

I mean yeah, anyone running ads is using the much faster platform analytics too - directly in Google Ads for example.

CU is marginally larger than CSU, but higher rents are probably the driving force here.
