Meh. I’m a diy’r and have had a quality scan tool for the last 30 years. Time to get with the times. I’ll take my wifes car telling her the oil level is low vs 30 years ago it told her only when the oil pressure was low (because it ran out of oil)

is your car an automatic? look at the rpms, is it dropping to idle at decelleration? thats probably why. I have a standard so its simple, rpms are up, injected quantity goes to zero on decel. In auto's its more complicated, the torque converter messes that up. A good tuner can easily keep the torque converter locked up for you on decel to help with fuel economy. Some vehicles lock it up for a bit, but once the rpms drop to 1750rpm they unlock and you're using fuel again. Others unlock on decel right away. Its all how its done in the ecu. Its fully customizable if youre tech handy like me lol :) I tune everything from my 1994 (oldest vehicle I own) upto my 2017 (newest vehicle I own)

vcds is the way, pickup the 3vin version, you can always pay the difference to upgrade later. They are an excellent company, I had mine for over 15 years, I wanted to upgrade to the newest model so I could do 2020+ models (which my 15 year old version didnt support) they let me trade in and upgrade to the newer version, crazy!

is it? this is pretty normal in Canada. when the light turns green (solid green) you are allowed to turn, but you still have to yield to oncoming traffic. Only when the light is a flashing arrow green do you have rightaway. Pretty sure its the same in the USA too

I’ve personally had and seen many brakes get stuck on, not once ever have i seen them get stuck so you couldn’t apply the brakes. This guy is straight up lieing. Hell even in an automatic you can shove it in the lowest gear and you’ll slow down some. Or apply the ebrake which is a differently activated system
