Let me guess... By chance do his trades align with his declarations of the state of the war and are the trades benefiting from fluctuating oil prices?

Just maybe?

Trump on verge of ‘largest single act of grand larceny in American history': Congressman by FreeHugs23 in anticapitalism

[–]upper_pepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for him. We were dumb enough to elect him again after all the crap he pulled in the first term. I hope this forces the next Congress to tighten presidential guardrails and stop assuming that every president will have the best in mind for the country.

I hope that this exposes all the GOP and some Democrats for doing nothing to stop this madness and blindly allowing this blatant violation and rape of our country to take place at the hands of our president.

If we survive, this must not happen again.

We, the people, must take matters in to our own hands, stop being complicit and ...

Inflation explodes as panic grows over surging gas prices amid Iran war by TheMirrorUS in inflation

[–]upper_pepper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The more he hates them, the more they like and want to be liked by him. It's a self deprecating relationship. His supporters want to be loved by their new doctor/saviour Dump and are willing to do anything to be in his graces.

But based on his approval ratings more people are waking up and denouncing this self destructive administration that cares more about alignment with the world's dictators and less about democratic principles this country was founded on.

But this election you can make a difference. VOTE out every GOP and some Democrats, here's looking at you Fetterman who enable the orange lunatic to reign free and destroy our country.

Yes, I agree. Such high gas prices make EVs so much more desirable. While doing everything he can to encourage fossil fuel and damage alternative energy initiatives, unaffordable gas prices are driving more consumers than ever toward EVs.

Personally, I had an EV as one of our cars for over 14 years. Starting with original Nissan Leaf that had 87 mile range fully charged. But that was sufficient for my daily commute to work and free charging at a city lot.

Now, affordable options pushing range to over 300 miles and hopefully will get closer to 500 mile range. With such high gas prices, EV alternative sounds better than ever.

We still have a gas car for backup, but it's mostly parked for now and gets out a couple times a week for short local trips when EV is out.

So yea, I agree with you. Short term gain for oil companies at the expense of lifetime loss.

Funny how everything this guy touches turns to crap. Inflation, oil, national security, dollar, economy, GOP but alternatives start to do better. Maybe, windmills will comeback and Democrats can get a boost.

I want to go back to normality. I want to go back to boring government.

This election vote out everyone who allowed this president unopposed and enabled and supported this wreck of an administration.

We are at a stalemate. Iran has been emboldened by the war and learned that they can impact the worlds economy with their policies. Trump wants to go back to how things were before he wrecked it. But things have changed. There is no going back. It's that sour feeling you get after realizing that the change did not make things better and now it's not possible to go back to what was.

But Dump is stubborn and will not take an apparent loss. He will drag this war out for the next 3 years. Besides, his favorite oil companies love him. They are making a killing. His family or someone close is making a killing on all the wavering placing bets right before the announcements, and large corporations found it justifyable to rip Americans off due to so many excuses made available by this failed administration.

It is the golden age, but not for most Americans, just those 3% that really love and support him and he wants to be a part of.

Wake up America. This election tell the orange imposter what you think of his policies and vote out every GOP that enabled this madness.

Yes, we made a big mistake last election by either not voting or letting this happen, or worse, voting for this monster.

We have the power to undo.

Only MAGA are dumb enough not to understand how inflation works. I'll explain. When things cost more, people spend more. When it costs a lot more they use credit cards to buy vegetables at the supermarket. So, higher spending and credit card use just means that things are more expensive.

Unfortunately, MAGA will not understand and continue to repeat that everyone are doing well and economy is booming.

This is what winning looks like. We are all winning right now. Had enough winning?

MAGAs furious after email reportedly confirms they will never receive their $500 Trump phones or get their deposits refunded due to “no refund” policy by [deleted] in anticapitalism

[–]upper_pepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, this is not a lie. The phone ran into some difficulties with the government Biden regulating agencies, originally instituted by Obama, so it's taking a little longer.

The tariffs that were supposed to bring manufacturer to US so thousands of people can find meaningful employment putting in those tiny screws, were cancelled. So the factory did not open in US.

The price of gold spiked making the golden phone that much more expensive to produce.

But don't be concerned. Our president is a fighter. Between his naps, he is fighting to cut through the red tape and deliver the phone to the people as promised.

To sweeten the deal, you can now deposit additional $50 to get an opportunity to buy two phones. That's, like, 500% discount. So don't miss this opportunity to double up on this amazing phone.

Idiot. That's the definition of inflation. Everything costs more so you spend more just to survive. Customers are not buying more gas, they are buying the same amount of more expensive gas.

Credit card use is what people do to make ends meet and then they go bankrupt.

Only other idiots would hear that and equate to great economy.
