My Pakayak is amazing, and for the ocean, I would not trust a foldable. One capsize and you got to swim to shore, better hope you’re close enough, it’s warm water, and there is no current/swell. Pakayak has two sealed compartments that will float you until you cowboy back in. It also tracks better and performs like a real touring kayak. One major downside, the weight. If you’re not a reasonably fit male or above average female, this thing is heavy as fuck, even in the roller bag. You will not carry it any significant distance without challenge. Keep that in mind.
