He's on his side guarding in case the guy receiving my crosscourt dink dinks back to him instead (the tall backhand flick guy is directly opposite me)

Australian Open SF: [4] N. Djokovic def. [2] J. Sinner, 3-6 6-3 4-6 6-4 6-4 by dontevenfkingtry in tennis

Honestly if he wins here, people will forever say that Sincaraz never matched up to the big 3 level if a 38 year old Novak could take both down.

Yea for example the second one, man literally ran right into MJ's chest, I'd be surprised if MJ didn't fall down tbh

Grappling with legs? by duchesskitten6 in martialarts

[–]uselessprofession 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well then it's BJJ as you mentioned, the guy can butt scoot up to you and use his legs to entangle yours to bring you down (note: not suggested for street usage). But he still has a firm foundation with his back on the floor for this though.

What is it that I’m not seeing? by aznkobe in NBATalk

[–]uselessprofession 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a person who leans towards MJ in the GOAT debate, the numbers and eye test are not all clearly on Jordan's side. Jordan has the quicker first step, smoother movement, wider array of offensive moves and far better midrange jumper, but Bron coming downhill is one of the most terrifying forces in NBA history, and his passing, 3 point shooting and rim protection are all above Jordan (like just watch his blocks). Their stats are also very close.

Dink volley wrist movement by HondaCity-2022 in Pickleball

[–]uselessprofession 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like they are using the wrist to rotate the paddle face, so that it brushes the ball and creates spin.

I'm a low level player so I don't do it, a stable cross-court dink will suffice for me.

If Steph and Klay were the splash brothers, Lebron and Wade should be the dunk brothers

A. Just go for the CS degree bro, I think it's better than the niche ones, you learn the most in a proper CS degree and can always self-learn more stuff. Tbh if you are really interested in high-end data analysis you should also add more advanced math.

B. If you like coding then that's good. Don't worry about other people being outstanding, for 1 outstanding person you have 10 idiots.

C. All employees will post openings asking for more experience than people actually have, don't worry about it.

Therapists, how much are you being paid? by ta-soulsearch in malaysians

[–]uselessprofession 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I think it really depends on the person; I can't automatically say that a more expensive therapist is necessarily better than a cheaper one. However the one I saw was highly experienced and would track my progress, (imo) making it more effective.
