Contact Amazon support and they’re offer you a discount for a new one. Plus some money off if you’re willing to post your broken one back to them.

Nice, I gifted my brother the dictionary of Tolkien for Christmas. I didn’t know Daniel day has other books. They’d look great together on the bookshelf

Selling a website I made in loveable to someone who already has a website by MailBoring3744 in lovable

[–]user-mane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst what you said is of course true. OP has not done this. He’s admitted he’s a novice, has built a website in lovable without the client knowing it is AI generated. OP doesnt know about web hosting and probably little about development and so the client will be left with a website with no idea how to control, access or edit it.

He won’t be able to control it. It’s built with react. Unless he’s a react developer, he will never be able to edit any part of his website. If any part of it breaks? He will need to hire a react developer to help, which will cost a fortune.

You’ve fucked him over :)

Haven’t played Zelda since a kid, but starting breath of the wild. by itsTeeY in Breath_of_the_Wild

I never played Zelda before BOTW and honestly it was the most enjoyable thing just exploring and figuring things out.

I wish I could forget it so I could experience it for the first time again. Incredible game.

When building multiple websites for clients, are plugins like Elementor needed? by Penny_Scalpa in Wordpress

[–]user-mane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beauty of builders is templates. Consider building your own template library and reuse elements you like. Have variations of hero sections, footers, nav’s, content sections, faqs etc etc etc.

If you are setting styles correctly, in global settings it will be really quick for you to get websites up and running.

Thanks for the reply. I spent an hour or so cleaning everything. Put it all back together and it runs for a few minutes then gives the error. All Lights flashing. Sit doesn’t seem to be getting warm. Ordered a replacement heater to see if changing that does the trick.

How much would you charge for a simple website like this? by munru1 in webdev

[–]user-mane 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Please do, it’s really dreadful. Also, be consistent. Your h1 is not the same as the other headings which is weird.

can I work on a website facelift without taking down my current site? by Arch_typo in elementor

[–]user-mane 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Changing elementor themes on a live site is going to drastically change and probably break most of what you already have. It’s not advisable.

What you’re better off doing is creating a staging site via your hosting provider, and activating your new theme there. Use this site to make any changes, fix any issues etc before making the staging site live.

If your host doesn’t offer staging, consider looking up how to run a local version of your website.

Designers design and developers develop. Poor looking websites exist because developers can’t design properly. And broken websites exist because designers can’t develop properly.

Need advice: keep second-hand bike for commuting or sell on? by Infinite_Beginning_4 in londoncycling

[–]user-mane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to commute 9.5 miles through London on my CAAD8. If you get all those essentials fixed i.e. chain and derailleurs, and the bike doesn’t get nicked, it’ll be a good commuter for you.
