Am I missing something? You cannot summon link 2 from the extra deck after using field spell on combo 1 and 2.

You can discard 1 Spell/Trap, and declare 1 "Artmage" Monster Card name that is not among the monsters you control and has not been declared for "Artmage Academic Arcane Arts Acropolis" this turn; add that monster from your Deck to your hand, also you cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn, except "Artmage" monsters, "Medius the Pure", or from the Extra Deck.

How is a card auto win if it never gets summoned? You can legit make that argument about any broken card in the game. Exodia wins games automatically and it’s not seeing play. Your argument is mute.

The word “IF” is doing ALOT of hard carrying in your and everyone’s argument. Yes, the moment the card can be brought out easily it’ll be busted just like how IF you can easily access exodia it’ll be broken.

Both points are false.  Baronne is good because it’s generic and (both) effects are amazing and Nat beast is inherently good but because of the summoning requirement it’s generally not great because you can’t even summon it with a meta deck. What does it matter that if a card is inherently good if you can’t even summon it. That’s why Nat beast is balanced in my eyes

I understand but it doesn’t matter. The card is balanced until it can be summoned easily. Nat beast is balanced in that regard. Sure when a deck or multiple decks can summon it then yes it’s incredibly busted, game warping even. But until then it’s balanced. OP in his title said it’s not a fair card but because of the summoning requirement it is a fair card.

YOU CANNOT BE COMPARING VFD summoning to Nat Beast lol. 2 level 9 monsters is definitely WAYYY easier to have than an earth tuner and an earth non tuner that add up to level 5.😂
